UK Islamic Mission Iqra Centre
4-6 Carrmanor Crescent, Leeds, West Yorkshire
The UK Islamic Mission was established in August 1962, on the initiative of a small group of Muslims who felt the need for a British-based organisation which would convey the true spirit of Islam to the Western world. The setting up of the UK Islamic Mission underlines the determination to meet this urgent need of the Muslims in the West. It was an effort both of moral training and social reorientation in the light of the Qur'an and Sunnah, the only way to real progress and salvation.
