Al-Furqan is an established voluntary and charitable organisation in the Melbourne's south-east. We have been continuously working for over 10 years in shaping and assisting local Muslim and wider community through education and knowledge dissemination. In our current premises at 5 Wardale Road, Springvale South we are able to offer assistance to newly arrived migrant and visitors with advice on housing and life in Australia in general as well as hosting regular weekly meetings/lectures. Some of the languages spoken by our volunteers include English, Pashtu, Khmer, Tamil, Mandarin, Indonesian, Dari, Urdu and Bosnian.

Is definatly NOT a salafi mosque even though the site says it is. They follow the way of the takfeeris and ikwanis. Stay clear of IISNA and ISCA and ASWJ in Melbourne. They all are on a path seperate from salafiyah. The closest masjid to the sunnah is fitzroy masjid and preston masjid. Fitzroy is better because it has actual salafis in the congregation that teach classes ( by salafi I dont mean feiz muhammed or abdur raheem green )
