Masjid Assyafaah

Masjid Assyafaah is the fifth mosque to be built under Phase III of the Mosque Building Fund programme to serve the needs of the Muslim community in the Northern part of Singapore. It also acts as a replacement due to the closure of two old mosques in the Sembawang area - Jumah Sembawang Mosque and Naval Base Mosque. The mosque which can accommodate about 4,000 people at one time was opened to the public on 9th April 2004.
