The Islamic Foundation was established in 1978 in Geneva, Switzerland. The mosque can accommodate more than 1500 people, and has a special section dedicated to Muslim women (the entire second floor). The mosque has a large library (open Mon-Sat from 10 am to 12 noon and from 2pm to 4pm) and a hall that can be used for public events.
