Islamic Cultural Centre Odessa

Islamic Cultural Centre Odessa was the very first Islamic Centre opened on the territory of Ukraine. The centre is the home of the social organization 'Al-Masar. In the Centre there is a hall for prayers (a mosque), intended for 500 persons, Russian and Arabic libraries where is collected numerous literature, compact discs, audio- and video-tapes about Islam and oriental culture, a Sunday school on studying of the Arabic language and the culture of the Islamic world, a gym, equipped by training apparatus and a table tennis, and a drawing room where take place meetings with frequent visitors of actions of the Centre.
