Swansea University Mosque

The University of Wales Swansea Islamic Society Committee (UWSISOC), a Muslim students' umbrella in the University, operates the Swansea University Mosque, which offers five daily prayers and Friday prayer, Qur'an and Arabic classes for both adults and children, lectures, annual events such as dawa'a and Islam Awareness Week. For the physical development of its members, the Society organises table tennis (within the Mosque) and football (at times in University football pitch or in indoor sport centre which it hires).
