Also referred to as Anjaman Fidayan Rasool/Third Street Mosque. This mosque belongs to the Ahl`e Sunnat wal Jama`at (Maslak-e-Ala Hazrat) and is very well known for their blessed `Id-e-Milad-un-Nabi (Sal Allahu ta`ala alayhi wa alihi wa salim) gatherings.

I came here for Jumah today for the first time and found it pretty easily. I believe khutba is in Urdu, but unfortunately missed the khutba as I came late. Khutba starts 1pm and prayer at 1:45pm. I LOVE this masjid as it's one of the few that do group dhikr afterwards and in particular give salaams to the Prophet salAllahu alaih. It was decorated very nicely for the Milad-un-Nabi salAllahu alaih. The masjid has many berelwis and qadiris and there's a lot of emphasis on muhabba for the Prophet salAllahu alaih. Parking is easy and the masjid isnt packed which makes for easy in and out. I think there's a sisters section behind a purdah. In terms of community / youth etc. events I don't know what they have...I just love the fact that they have a salaam after Jumah. Only other place that does that is MCC East Bay in Pleasanton. FYI: Not exactly the safest neighborhood as it's in the Bay View Hunter's Point...not a place you want to be at at night, but it's safe during the day. Not a place for kids/families.

Just called them to see if they had a women's prayer area since I happen to be in SF today and needed a place to pray. The man who answered the phone said that they do not have regular women attendance except on Fridays so they only open the women's area on Friday between 1pm to 2:30pm. So if you are a woman like me then you should look for an alternate place for prayer unless its jummah
