Imamia Organization of Pittsburgh (IOP) was established in May 1998 as a non-profit Islamic religious organization with the primary objective serving the Shia Muslim community in Western Pennsylvania, to promote the teachings of Holy QuráƒÃ‚¢á‚€á‚'an as elaborated by our Holy Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) and his Ahlul-Bayt (A.S.) and preserving the authentic values of Islam. Imamia Organization of Pittsburgh draws its strength and guidance from the Holy Qur'an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad and Ahlul-Bayt, may peace and blessings of Allah be bestowed upon them.
