Islamic Education Center (IEC) of San Antonio is a non-profit organization that serves the needs of the Muslim community of the city of San Antonio and the suburban area. Our vision is to grow in quality and quantity to better serve the lovers of Ahlul Bayt (AS). We plan to build a proper Masjid, an Islamic School and a community center that serves the needs of the Muslim community in San Antonio.

Alhumdulilah, this center is blessed to have a resident alim who is active and engages with the youth and the rest of the community. IEC has weekly programs and very spiritual Ramadan and Muharram months. A active Saturday school and qualified teachers with ample amount of space for children to play makes IEC truly a community center.

This is a very good Shia mosque but it\'s not only for Friday prayers but also for Saturday Maghrib and Isha prayers as well. There is a Saturday school for children as well. You can check its facebook page for updated information.

This is the only shia center in San Antonio that always invites scholars and ulama and is not affiliated with any governments. Very multicultural and family-friendly maashaa Allah.
