Wellington Masjid

This mosque is culturally diverse but if I was going to say which group predominates it would be Fijian Indian. At the end of the day however its a pretty multicultural mosque with the leaders all speaking English and long term members of the community. Women are treated well compared to other mosques however the glass in the wall seperating the women and men's area in the prayer hall has recently been frosted. There are classes for women and childern in the weekend, see the website for details. There are also youth events currently focused on men however there are definitly things young women can involve themselves in.
