Leeds Islamic Centre mosque in Leeds, West Yorkshire

Leeds Islamic Centre

46-48 Spencer Place, Leeds, West Yorkshire

Sunni (Traditional)

The Leeds Islamic Centre constitutes the first mosque built in Leeds in 1958. The mosque was subsequently expanded as the community grew - in 1974, 1982, and again in the past few years. The complex now includes a large dual level prayer area with atrium, a sports hall for weddings and special events, and a school facility. The mosque serves an estimated 30,000 Muslims in the Leeds area.
