The San Marcos Masjid offers services to the San Marcos and Texas State students. Friday Prayer is at 1:45 pm year round, and the mosque is also open for the five daily prayers. The Masjid is on the corner of Lindsey and North Comanche (29.8862,-97.9442), which is adjacent to Texas State University's south boundary. From I-35, take exit 206 (Aquarena Springs Dr.) & go west on Aquarena Springs till you make a right on University Dr. and continue till you make a right on North Comanche Street and arrive at 434 North Comanche Street at the corner of North Comanche & Lindsey. The San Marcos Masjid is 1.6 miles from I-35 exit 205 (take East Hopkins Street towards the University. After 1.4 miles, make a Right on to North Comanche and the Masjid is the last building on the Right in the third block). beautiful and wonderful alhamdulilah
It is a very small masjid but elhamdulillah we found a place to pray on the campus while we are on the way back from San Marcos outlet mall to home, Houston. Masjid is on the street, like a small house.
1st) parking behind the masjid. Cuz I was driving around to find a Parking lot since it's in the university campus. The doors locked but all u have to do is call one of those number (as I did, he answered right away and gave me the code) put it in; the door is open, prayed and locked the door. It's kinda small house and there's a barrier for women.
