Built in 1993, this mosque in Kuantan's city centre can host up to 8000 worshippers. It is built in a Ottoman-Moorish style, with four minarets and a large dome surrounded by four smaller domes. It is named after Sultan Ahmad Al'Mu'adzam Shah, the patriarch of Pahang's royal family. Located in the centre of the city, this mosque is a tourist attraction as well as an operational mosque.
