Masjid primarily caters to older generation Indian/Pakistani community. More thought was clearly put into the men's bathrooms (squatting latrines) than the unfortunately small and secluded women's area. Not as accommodating to non-Desis, youths or sisters as some of the Scarborough mosques nearby like IFT or IIT. Criticisms aside, does serve a robust community in Markham and Mashallah always has lots of congregants for prayer.

Alhamdulillah, a beautiful masjid in a well populated community. Unfortunately, those running the masjid are obviously confused. This is Canada and not Pakistan or India. As such the language of the khutbas during Juma should be in English and NOT Urdu. This is a disgrace. If you want to communicate only in your native language and ignore the plight of those who grew up here and are appreciative of the local language then please return back to your country. I understand that Canada is a land of multiculturalism and that's what makes it great. But one also needs to appreciate and respect the local language and culture that makes the system work as a cohesive unit.

Beautiful large mosque with good facilities. Most khutbas and announcement are in English but some time in Urdu. Interestingly, they use urdu words in between as community is Indian/Pakistani.

Clash of cultures. The Urdu speaking seniors need to check their passports to see what country it represents!

Mashallah, this masjid is unique. The decor and finish is awesome. The sound system is Great. It's a pleasure to pray in this masjid. Imam Sayeed's English Kuthbas on alternative Friday's is touching.
