I can never call a masjid "terrible" since after all it's the house of Allah. However it's a pseudo-salafi masjid- and the type where they circle around the lines before prayer to make sure everyone's feet AND ANKLES (wtf?) are touching. Emphasis is placed on things like this while the brothers who lead prayer unfortunately cannot recite Arabic properly- both pronunciation as well as tajweed. This place has a lot of passion but unfortunately lacks knowledgable individuals / leadership.
So great masjid. People are friendly. May Allah bless all people there.
Awesome masjid upon salafiyyah may Allah aid them in their call ameen
Assalam alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuh. Alhamdulillah I had a chance to stop by this masjid. It is located in a quiet and nice area of NE Washington, DC. The imam is very very nice and knowledgeable person. I offered salat al Asr here with a dozen of brothers and after we offered the imam recited a few ahadeeth on the matter of tahaarah (purification). Stop by Inshaallah if in the area. Jazakallah khayr. Assalam alaykum warahmatullah wabarakatuh.
