Masjid Mu'Minun is physically located in the People's Town section of Atlanta Georgia - not far from Turner Stadium and downtown Atlanta. As Muslims, our community is not limited by geographic location. We have Believers in attendence from metro Atlanta, other parts of the state, other parts of North America and other parts of the world. The majority of our Believers are converts. Although most of our community members are of African-American ancestory, we welcome all nationalities and races. Al Islam makes no distinctions within the communities and we therefore warmly open our doors to all Believers and Guests. We are firmly committed to following the teachings of Imam W. Deen Mohammed.

These folks were super friendly and nice. They were very understanding of the fact that I had forgotten my headscarf for prayer (I did not pray out of respect for the demeanor of the mosque). The women are separate, but only during prayer services. People were very social and respectful. The imam is very accessible and the members of the mosque are very active in the community.
