Ja'afari Islamic Center

Also known as Anjuman-e-Asghari, the Ja'afari Islamic Center is located north of the city of Osseo on Jefferson Highway in Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, just north of Minneapolis. It was founded by a diversity of Shi'a brothers and sisters, including East African Khojas, Pakistanis, Iranians, and Iraqis, amongst others. The center hosts regular Thursday night programs, Salaat al-Jumuah, a weekend madressah, sporting events, and youth functions. Mash'Allah, it is very big Masjid and they also have a big parking lot. It was my first time in the Masjid and they were very welcoming and had a feast in celebration of ascension of Prophet Mohammad (AS).
