Islamic Center of Mississippi

Also known as Masjid Al-Huda, this masjid is located in a small southern college town behind the graduate student housing of Mississippi State University. The community is very diverse and welcoming, without the predomination of any ethnic group, and is primarily composed of graduate students and professors. The community comes together for islam awareness/MSA/cleaning/community welcome and farewell events. There is gender segregation of the prayer hall and community events held at the masjid, which of course is preferred by some and disliked by others. Altogether it is a clean masjid with a closeknit community.
