It is very friendly , kind and sincere community. I was there in the first day of Ramadan and their hospitality was amazing. From my perspective , they deserve 5 because of their cleanliness - bathrooms , masjeed - , hospitality and kindness.

As Salaam wa Alekum. It pains me to say this but in my personal experiences with this mosque bittersweet due to indifferent, impathetic and outright immoral admistration. I was experiencing a difficult circumstance in my life-alhamdilallah.Homeless and no funds whatsoever,i approached mosque admin and was given the run around for three days w/ zero help. I went to a church not far away and was helped in so many ways, alhamdilallah. Admin in this mosque will take zakat with no problem, but will not assit those in need..and I have spoken to thers who were treated the same way. I have paid into this mosque when times were better. I will Never go back, sorry to say.

This is the largest masjid in Tampa Bay and maybe even in Florida. Accommodation and facilities are excellent and they have started a major expansion program as well. The masjid offers many community and educational programs to cater for a range of needs. The khutbas delivered by the local imams can be somewhat monotonous because management dictates what can or cannot be said. Also the management of this masjid never changes because the constitution ensures that in spite of annual elections the same people retain there position year after year. There are also a few of the regular musallees who have total disregard for everybody else. They park anywhere including disabled and no parking zones as well as block access lanes to the masjid. They will remove and leave there shoes at the doorway into the masjid and they will even push you away so they can stand behind the imam in salaah.

AlhamduliAllah The Masjid is thriving and making a presence in Tampa Bay. The atmosphere for Jummah is refreshing and uplifting. Clean and well kept!

ISTABA is Tampa's biggest mosque. Parking has improved significantly after the new car park was built. Has a day care, elementary school, medical clinic, library and thrift shop. The administration is a bit disorganized, but they have worked very hard to improve the center.
