Akron Masjid serves the diverse and growing community of Muslims & Non-Muslims in and around Akron. Akron Masjid began as a majority of African Americans with a few brothers from the Eastern region of the world. Today due to the grace and mercy of the Creator our numbers are growing exponentially and we now serve brothers and sisters from all over the globe. Upon completion of the renovation project we will be able to hold nearly 400 worshipers within our walls.

Don't let the outside fool you (its on a run down looking block), the masjid is beautiful and new looking inside. Really pleasant brothers.

After the new expansion, the Masjid can take more people than before and the Wodo place and bathrooms are clean. This masjid has Sunday school. Also, one of the brothers make breakfast after Sunday fajr prayer and all brother gathering together. I love the community of this masjid. It is close to the university of Akron.
