Serves the needs of the Muslim community of Laurel, Maryland and surrounding areas. The ICCL holds five obligatory prayer services. Taraweeh, I'tekaf, community Iftars and Dinners in Ramadan are regular features. Center provides pre and post marital counseling. Special attention is given to youth counseling. For Dawa activities the Imam and other officials often visit schools, churches and synagogues to elucidate divine guidance contained in Quran and Sunnah.

I have been here several times for Jummah the parking lot is always packed jammed. Make sure to come early or you will be parking on the streets and walking. The kutbas have always been interesting to me however lately it seems very cold in the womans area. There is a Kabab place that sells sandwiches after jummah for cheap. They are tasty

The masjid has a very conservative tone to it, as is evident in the Imam and the khutbas. The inside is nicely carpeted and well maintained. Khutba was in english and the congregation was a good mix of arabs, africans, and desis. Parking is and can be an issue. This masjid suits the typical conservative muslim, but is not my cup of tea.
