Insha Allah this community will get it together and find a new space. This tiny masjid serves all the Sunni Muslims of Syracuse! Jumma parking was a nightmare when I lived there. The cemetary across the street let us park there free but then there were complaints that the Muslims were littering and parking in bad spots and it was very embarassing for us as a community. There was a somewhat strict Islam practiced there, some women who are not praying wont enter the musalla and sit in the stairwell instead, even though the stairwell roof leaked and it was freezing there during Syracuse winters! Allahu alim but I feel Islam is common sense and the sisters shouldnt have to sit in the cold to hear khutba when they cant pray. Nevertheless, memories of iftars at people's houses remain with me to this day and there are good Muslims everywhere alhamdulillah.
