β The food is really good and cheap. Shwarma sandwiches are $4.99 each. Chicken Shawarma sandwich is a little bland but Kafta sandwich / roll was good. The serving size is really big. Good to call first and order. Their menu is on their website. Good for to go orders. Since it is located near downtown, it is very hard to find parking. It is a very nice area though. A lot of people walking around. A lot of young American crowd in the restaurant which explains the bland taste :-). The young girl behind the counter was wearing hijab. Posted on April 26, 2013 |

β Coming back to St. Louis after many years, and happy to see the success of this business. When we lived here this was a grocery store with room next door for a restaurant. Now, itβs the hottest Arab cuisine spot in St. Louis. Posted on July 15, 2018 |

NR The food was cold. I ate kfta kabab there. The taste was not normal. My stomach hurt after i ate there for one day because of their food. I never have a stomach problem. I think the food was dirty or expired. Posted on December 12, 2016 |

NR the waiters are very bad. I can't give them more than 1/5. they don't respect customers. Posted on June 18, 2016 |

ββ Its a small restaurant. The waiter/waitress are young college kids who don't enjoy their work. The reviews were good but from years back or early this year. The food was Good and Reasonable priced though. The Customer Service was HORRIBLE. It is because of the Customer Service, I will never dine there. Expect Good Customer Service ONLY if you are Caucasian. For the Asian (Brownies), you will need to chase the waiters/waitress for reminders. The workers were not friendly to most (but not rude either). Next time I "may" do carry out but not dine in. Posted on December 1, 2014 |

Very nice interior (not in the picture). Very tasty fresh Lebanese food. I could go here every week! Market next door is decent too.
Update 4/11/12: I have sinced moved from STL and I miss this restaurant so much. The Lebanese burger and fries are great, as are the mana'ish (get the combdo: cheese and za'tar). Posted on April 11, 2012 |

I live in Orlando and travel to St. Louis a couple of times a year. I have been to this restaurant a number of times and this place is not to be missed when you are in St.Louis. One of the many Persian/Mediterranean restaurants in the vicinity, but one of it's kind in great food and polite service. I was highly impressed with the quality of the food and the portion sizes. Their Kafta Kabob and Shawarma sandwiches are really good. A large menu also allows lots of choices. Posted on February 22, 2012 |

First of all, I found this place because it's on stlhalal.org website as an approved vendor. I went here with the comfort that I would be eating legit zabiha halal food. So if that's your concern, it shouldn't be. Second of all, this place is amazing. I tried the mixed shawarma platter, the mixed grill platter, the chicken kabob platter, the burger, and the lentil soup. Everything was superb and some of the best Mediterranean cuisine I've ever had. The portions are excellent, the prices very reasonable, and the service was great. I highly recommend this place and it's no wonder that this place has 18 reviews now all 5/5. Posted on January 1, 2012 |

Nice Place, we were passing thru St. Louis on our way to Texas and found this restaurant on Zabihah.com. I had the Chicken Swarma Plate and my wife had the Sandwich. It was very good. Posted on December 9, 2011 |

While driving through St. Louis near Maghrib time, my family and I decided to stop for dinner at the vine. I pulled up the menu from the Internet and called in the order. We ordered just about every type of sandwich they offered. When we arrived, it was Maghrib time so we thought we would ask the owners if they had an area where we could pray. The owner allowed us to pray in a private room that already had prayer mats laid out for us. We were very impressed with her hospitality and were extremely impressed that they accommodated our request for a prayer area. The sandwiches were absolutely delicious. My personal favorites were the Mediterranean Kabob and the Lebanese-style burger. The price was more than reasonable, as the sandwiches were less than $5 each. The Vine deserves a 5 star rating not only for their delicious food and good prices, but also for their hospitality and for offering us a clean place to pray. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the St. Louis area. Posted on August 21, 2011 |

β The Vine is located on the South Grand strip whoch is a pedestrian area full od shopping and good eats. You are also just a few doors down from the Carpenter Branch of the St Louis Public Library and Tower Grove Park. The Grand Masjid ( Salafi) is in walking distance and there are a lot of Muslims who live in the area.
The place is clean and they have good customer service. The crowd is normally mostly non-Muslims who frequent the area and is often crowded. Food is decent ( a little too bland for my taste), but given all the pluses it is still good. A good place to take non-Muslim family and friends where they will not feel uncomfortable. Close & convenient near to the Grand Islamic Center masjid. The Vine is excellent in every way, this is family owned and beautiful setting. I ordered the Kafta Kabob sandwich with spiced fries and a banana date shake. The prices are also so low for the quality you get it. Everything is home made and the staff is very kind and attentive and service is quick. They also have a really amazing halal grocery store attached next door. If I lived here in St. louis I would be buying from them all the time. Highly recommended. I ate here with my dad and he loved it too. Posted on September 13, 2010 |

ββ This is a good place when you visit st louis. I'd been here yesterday and still remembering their tasty chicken shawarmi with yogurt salad. Just a little bit complain about their service I noticed. I got my food order late. I saw some customers who came late after me got their food order before me... Posted on August 9, 2010 |

Probably the best zabihah food i've had in the STL area. Prices are very reasonable and the food is excellent. I would recommend the "mechanik" or "mediterrean kabob" sandwich. The juices are also very good! The only issue is that it's a small restaurant. Overall a great place for anyone! Posted on July 21, 2010 |

Adorable place. We were visiting from California, and we are used to this type of halal place, clean, friendly, and yummy. We were really impressed!! Food portions were HUGE. Bring your non Muslim friends and family, because it is an adorable neighborhood with a friendly atmosphere. We ordered: hummas, dolma, fries, rotisserie chicken, and chicken sharwarma...we ate our face off, we will be back with vengance! Posted on June 6, 2010 |

this place is truly amazing. The food, the fast, friendly service, the decor all EXCELLENT.
The prices are reasonable and they serve real SOUL FOOD. We recently visited St.Louis and found them while driving in the area looking for zabihah food. Loved it so much that we drove back 15 miles the next day again for lunch.
The ckicken Shawarma, kabobs, fresh baked breads , garlic sauce and scrumptious desserts were all awesome. Will definitely go back whenever I'm in the area. Posted on November 15, 2009 |

This restaurant serves genuine Middle Eastern classics, there is something for everyone and at very reasonable prices. The fresh baked breads and pastries are exceptionally good, also enjoyed the chicken shwarma and falafel sandwich. Very clean atmosphere and extremely courteous service. Will visit again. This is perhaps the only above-average middle eastern restaurant in St. Louis area.
The food is for sure Halal as the owners are well known and respected members of the community.
The decor and atmosphere are fantastic and luxurious.
The food is even better: chicken shawarma, hummus, and their falafel were OUTSTANDING.
And the price is amazing.
This place is a MUST visit. Posted on November 13, 2009 |

This place has "the best falafel in town" (my opinion). It also has many other dishes that are just amazing and very authentic. They run a very clean store and it truly has a family-run atmosphere. If you have never experienced Arab hospitality, pay them a visit! Very warm and friendly folks there! Many of us customers are waiting for the restaurant section to open in the next few weeks. Come on guys! We love you!! :-) Posted on March 24, 2009 |
