★★★★★ As a regular customer in Café Turko, I highly admire the chef’s consistency in producing quality food, and the servers for their outstanding service every time I go there. The restaurant is able to capture the authentic Turkish flavor that’s sure to broaden one’s palate. I usually like to get Ali Nazik chicken, it’s tender & it’s cooked just perfectly, a simple delicious dish. But also lovvve Beyti kebab with lamb, a fulfilling authentic dish rich with flavor. Genuinely, my experience in Café Turko was better than any other restaurant. All of my friends whom I brought with me to the restaurant loved the place, and started bringing their families & other friends. The family that runs the restaurant are extremely nice and humble, and yes I’ve seen people waiting for long to get a table or not satisfied with something, but I’ve also seen how the owners & the staff are so welcoming for any complaints, and will do their best to make up for any inconvenience just so customers can have a wonderful experience. I can only show love & respect for this place and the people that run it. Posted on May 23, 2018 |

★★★★☆ I love turkish food and we loved the food here. The only reason I had to give 4 stars is because they do not have separate seating for women/families. I will take my order to go next time inshaAllah.
But the food and the service is excellent, and if you are not muslim this will be fine for you to dine in. I highly recommend this restaurant, and for muslimeen, take the food to go. Posted on June 22, 2018 |

★★★★★ We found the restaurant while on 2 week work trip from East Coast. The meat is Hand Slaughtered/Zabihah (Crescent from Chicago). Owner is a wonderful guy, his behavior along with the food made us return 3 more times. The place can be really busy on weekends, and even general evenings but they are moving to a bigger place on the next block in Oct-17. I enjoyed the Sultan Mixed Grill, Pomegranate Tea, Mint Tea, and a couple of other things that I do not remember during my 3 visits. The food was not spicy and delectable for my American and non-desi colleagues. I would return here during my next visit. Posted on September 21, 2017 |

★★★★★ Wow. I wasn't expecting the experience I got when I came to Cafe Turko. It was astonishing! I came with my wife and some family friends; we were a total of six. Dinner on a busy Saturday night. At such a time, we had braced ourselves for an interesting experience, considering the difficulty it could be to provide a good service to your customers when it's so crowded like the restaurant was, but the staff didn't croak.
We were seated within five minutes of arriving; a very nice man came to watch over us and helped our every need. I ordered the Lamb Beyti Kabab, and I LOVED it. Very delicious. Incredibly filling. My wife got the Ali Nazik Chicken; she let me taste it, we both loved it!
I really suggest coming here for warm and friendly service. The ambiance is very rare I felt. It's not easy to find a 100% halal restaurant that has everything I can want as a Muslim customer. Posted on May 27, 2017 |

★☆☆☆☆ I went to Cafe Turko with my whole family on a busy Saturday night. First of all, the restaurant was so busy and crowded. The chairs were literally touching one another space was so tight. The appetizers were extremely small and we were a big family but our waitress only brought us two small plates. When she brought us the main food my rice was so crunchy and looked like it had gotten scraped off the bottom of the pot. When I complained about that she said to me "Yes, it is from the bottom of the pot" . She didn't even try to deny it. That is not customer service and you should always listen to what the customer says.I don't think that's too much to ask. She could've taken back my rice and gave me another one but she didn't. That was really disappointing. I couldn't and didn't eat it. Not only was it crunchy and not cooked at all, but it was so oily on my plate. It was also so expensive when we got the bill for the type of food that we were eating. Posted on February 21, 2017 |

★★★★★ It is one of the best Turkish restaurant 🍴 I have been. I really liked their service, authentication, and prices. I have tested ali nazik and beyti. OMG. I can't describe it. I am pretty sure their other foods are great as much as beyti and ali nazik. The owner is a really good man who you can have a talk easily. Posted on July 22, 2016 |

★☆☆☆☆ Not even bearable when you are starving nor is it filling. Nothing authentic. Meat has no taste. We ordered 2 dishes, full of salad, and very small meat portion. The chicken isn't Breast meat or actually grilled and probably cooked in a pan instead. The doner is the beef gyro meat you get in the frozen halal section. Not worth the time or money and you'd be better off eating at chipotle Posted on December 27, 2014 |

★★☆☆☆ My experience at Cafe Turko was not so good. Although it was busy we waited over an hour for our order, which was of small portion and not inexpensive. One waitress bumped into me and spilled another tables order on me. My wife ordered grilled chicken and pide, We all had a laugh when she asked "where's the chicken?" . They did comp us an appetizer for the late service. We were all disappointed and agreed we probably won't return. I may give them a second chance Posted on November 21, 2013 |

★★★★★ Great place in a great location. Tasty, authentic dishes, that were fresh and homemade. The friendly host assured us 100% zabihah and helped us with ordering manti, Sultan Kebabı and Çiftlik Kebabı (Farmer’s Kebab). Amazing food and highly recommended. The restaurant is inside a shop with a bakery. Posted on November 16, 2013 |
