NR The best restaurant for Pakistani-Indian cuisine in Connecticut! It's a family run enterprise and they do not comprise on the quality of the food.
The joint is easy access from the highway and has comfortable seating for couples and large families. The host is very accommodating of your needs and the waiters are clear and polite.
I really appreciated that they were honest about what's available on the menu and what changes they can make. I've had food catered from them over the summer and everything was perfect! Highly recommended for people seeking good Pakistani-Indian cuisine. Posted on September 15, 2020 |

★★★★★ Unbelievable food! This is the most fresh and authentic Tandoori food I have had outside of Pakistan. Highly recommend this place. Nice restaurant in terms of ambiance, nice service. But it's the food that will make you come back. Posted on July 28, 2016 |

★★★★★ Possibly the best food i've had since being in the US really reminded me of when i was back home in pakistan. I don't think I'll be trying any new places; im good here. The tikkas and biryani's are to die for. My personal favorites were the chicken tikka masala with the delicious naans. And for those of you that are health conscious they have roti's that are just as good. Also while your their don't forget to try their speciality, kunna gosht. Definitely gunna go back and tell all my friends. Posted on November 14, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Tasty food, but a little on the spicy side. We asked to lower the spices once but they said they couldn't. My wife lives the Samosas. The naans are fresh and delicious. Also really enjoy the tandoori chicken. Posted on December 13, 2011 |

★★★★★ This restaurant deserves mentioning. We have already eaten here several times and never been disappointed. That's why we keep coming back! The establishment is clean, the food delicious, the portions substantial and oh so affordable. We always order several chicken seekh kebabs. At 1.25 a piece there's plenty to eat and take home! Karai chicken, saag ghost, nihari, biryani, shami kebab, chapli kebab, chicken tikka boti, chicken malai tikka, behari, light fluffy naans have consistently delighted our palates. We usually complete the meal with a hot cup of tea and "just like home" gajar halwa sprinkled with slivered almonds and chopped pistachios. The owners provide excellent friendly service. Can't wait to try the chicken kofta next time! Posted on December 11, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ Nice folks, with a well stocked but small store. If you are not fussy, you can get everything you want around here. HOWEVER, they carry a lot of indian brands INSTEAD of Pakistani ones, which I do not appreciate. For example, not enough variety of Shaan or National Achaar, but some hindu/indian brand dominates that aisle. Similarly, with forzen parathas and stuff, no Dawn brands but some hindu stuff. Other then that, everything else is great. The attitude of the family that runs it keeps me coming back. Posted on August 25, 2011 |

★★★★★ I started visiting this place about a month ago. I believe that this place was under different management.
Currently Mr. Afandi has been running this place. Very authentic taste of Karachi. So far I have tried Chicken kadai, Behari Kabab, Chicken Malai Tikka and paya. I will highly and easily recommend to try these dishes. Especially Behari Kabab and Malai Tikka dishes were best but other dishes are also worth trying. Nans are also good.
Nice quite sitting area for the family. Affordable prices....better than others in Hartford area. Posted on November 1, 2010 |

★★★★★ I just had take out from the newly renovated Asia House, which is now called Asia Darbar because it has been taken over by a new set of owners. I believe they are still in the process of updating their name and getting the word out, as they told me they just opened up about week ago. Having gone to the previous Asia House before, I can definitely see the improvements that have been made by these new people in terms of cleanliness, customer service and general quality of the food. I had the seekh kabab, chiken makhni and some biryani and it was delicious! Right now the food was only available as take out, but I think they're going to be opening up the seating areas soon. Definitely recommended! Posted on August 1, 2010 |
