NR My review is for the Baiz Mesa location. They have excellent halal meats. We live their bed pepperoni! Excellent pricing for their produce as well. They have an excellent selection of items for Asian, Indian, Pakistani and Southwestern Asian food. The cafe Al-Hana inside makes the best chicken and lamb shwarma! Both Phoenix and Mesa location have them. They have delicious and healthy dishes!! Go check it out !! Posted on June 27, 2020 |

★★★★☆ My husband and I really enjoy this market! It is located in a not-so-good neighborhood, but the openness and busyness of muslims makes you feel safe, lol. Their food is really yummy and fast service! The meats are excellent! The bakery offers a variety of goodies! I enjoy that the butchers are well-knowledged in cuts of meats. ★☆☆☆☆ Great place to eat and shop as the resturant service is excellent ,but honestly the meat dept is the worst customer service i ever seen in USA . service is horrible .If this would be in places like Chi or NY should be closed long time back and i agree with reviews here the guy on the meat shop is anoying . ★★☆☆☆ Location is terrible. Very bad area of Phoenix. Variety of items stocked is fair for the size of the store. Items are overpriced since I think the owners feel they don't have to compete. Meat counter men leering at the female customers is offensive. Rude girls at checkout act as if it is beneath them to smile or greet anyone. Lights are dim - is it to hide the dirt? Arabic bread is good and reasonably priced. Posted on August 25, 2010 |

★★☆☆☆ The shawarma is the best I have had in america. The service is not that great and they are a bit unfriendly . There is one guy in the meat dept that eyes most of the women and in my opinion looks nasty at good lookin women. Posted on August 24, 2010 |

★★★★★ baiz market is a great place. they are specialize in international food. they have the cheapest price in town compareed to other store. you should try their food at the restaurant. they hav ethe best shawarma in town and they have also roasted halal chicken. all the meat is halal. they slaughtered and processed locally. it is fresh. plus thay have the best pita bread in the US. it is fresh backed daily at the store. they have a full automatic bakery line. i love this store because i did all my shopping in one stop. i recommend this store to every one like to have a real halal and fresh lamb, goat, beef and chicken. they have the cheapest price on meat in town abd they prossess your meat as you like to be. you can visit their web site at www.baizmarket.com. by the way, they have the best and the fastest service i ever had in town. they are always busy yes , in you need to take a number in their meat department. i love this store and i desagree 100% with the review of 1234. he is mean to them. ★☆☆☆☆ they are very rude. they do not have any customer service. I bought two packs of soujouk. My friend bought one at the same day, same brand. He ate it, and got sick. Then, he informed me about soujouk. I took two packs, and "tried" to return with receipt. They refused to exchange or give money back. They blamed me about not to keep them cold. I bought on Friday, and tried to return on Saturday. I kept them in refrigerator until to pick them to the store. I explained everything but they refused to take them back. they are still selling those spoilt sucuks... stay away from them. Posted on December 28, 2009 |

★☆☆☆☆ BAIZ MARKET IS LIKE SO MANY SO CALLED HALAL MARKETS IN PHX. AND THE USA,RUDE EMPLOYEES AND VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.QUESTIONABLE MEAT HALAL? NOT TO MENTION OVER PRICED.YET IF YOU SPEAK THE NATIVE LANGUAGE OF THE OWNERS YOU MAY GET SOME RESPECT.IF NOT YOU ARE OUT OF LUCK.IT'S TIME FOR TRUE GOD FEARING MUSLIMS TO BOYCOTT THESE TYPE OF MARKETS. AND OPEN CO-OPS,THAT ARE DESIGNED FOR LOYAL CUSTOMERS REGARDLESS OF THE COUNTRY OF BIRTH. Posted on November 20, 2009 |

NR Everyone I know says this is the very best place to buy halal meat. Ive seen and tasted what they bought and I believe it. Very high quality meats. I live nowhere near Baiz, but am hoping to go soon. Posted on September 9, 2008 |

★★★★☆ The food here was excellent. First we had an herb pie, it was flavorful & fresh. We also had a shish kabob sandwich, beef shwarma sandwich, and chicken shwarma sandwich. All three were excellent. All three had tender, juicy meat and seasoned to perfection. Tightly wrapped in fresh bread with just the right amount of sauce and veggies. Prices were very good. Service was friendly, and total wait time was less than 10 minutes, even though the kabob was cooked to order. The neighborhood is not too bad. The previous poster must have never left their ivory tower before. It is a safe neighborhood. Inside the store is very clean, but very old looking. Overall a great place to eat and shop.
My only complaint is that I bought candies there that I believe to not be halal because they had gelatin in them. Posted on April 14, 2008 |

★★☆☆☆ This place is in the ghetto area of phoenix meaning very bad location, a crime ridden area. You have to lock all your doors if your gonna park your car there, one of my friends car got stolen there.
Also, the guy behind the restraunt area is very rude , no customer service and when i ordered food there, they didnt even give me my food until 30 mins later, and no one even ordered any food before me. The food didnt taste good at all. Also, The cashiers dont even say hi or salam or anything, they just ring you up, like your not there. They dont even say thank you/ shukran, it looks like there just after the money.
At the back of the restraunt is the butcher shop, those guys are ogling and flirting at the girls all the time, one of my other friends felt harassed by these guys, they should have some manners. Also, on there receipts its say no refunds allowed or exchange allowed or returns. They have to really work on there customer service. Also, this place looks very old and dirty, They need to do some serious interior design. Posted on November 17, 2007 |

★★★★★ there chicken shawarma is sooo GOOD! My husband said to him it taste just like back home (saudi) and they wrap it the same.

★★★★☆ I haven't bought anything from the supermarket/ grocery area, but have tried various sandwiches from their deli. Chicken and Beef sandwiches and gyros are really good.
I didn't enjoy the sausage sandwiches much but its probably my taste that didn't go well with it.
Good place to get Halaal fresh lunch from. A little slower in service. Posted on April 17, 2007 |

★★★★★ I sometimes eat lunch here. Try the Kafta or Soujuk sandwich. Both are excellent and priced right. They also do a great roast chicken. The people are also very friendly. Posted on March 3, 2006 |
