★☆☆☆☆ They mention closing at 10:30 on suday.
We were there at 9:30 & were told that they were closed even though the open sign was still on.
When asked the guy behind counter why they were closed early he mentioned that they had 55 people catering & were out of everything.
Totally unprofessional & unbelievable . Wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone. Posted on February 10, 2020 |

★★☆☆☆ Food portions very small. Rice Full of oil. Felt sick after eating curry and pilaf rice. Onion Wasnt cooked properly. No taste. Chicken tikka was good. Posted on August 17, 2019 |

★☆☆☆☆ Avoid this place as long as you have any self-respect because they will not bother giving you any for sure. We came all the way from Valencia East area on a Friday evening (quite a hectic drive due to day and time), when we arrived restaurant was pretty much empty. While we were deciding on what to eat, the hostess came over and advised that they have no 'Naan' or any 'Grill Items' (we were not told this upfront and she only advised after she overheard us talking about some grill items). This is pretty ironic for a place that has the word 'Tandoori' in its name.
Upon inquiring, we were advised that they have a catering order and that grill area is completely dedicated for cooking the order. I even asked them politely to kindly consider the fact that we drove in evening Friday traffic for a good 30-40 minutes to get there and that they have no visible sign anywhere which advise customers about this situation. They basically did not offer much help except they can get us any other dishes except grill items or Naans. I asked them why they have a store front open when they are obviously more interested in catering orders only. Eventually we told them that we will not be returning here ever again and left. We got food at another place that is usually much busier than this place and have never treated us like this. Really unprofessional and sad treatment from a store that has been pretty decently reviewed everywhere. Posted on April 7, 2019 |

Very nice staff clean environment and Food of taste is amazing. Halal food Of Pakistani Owner. ★★★★☆ Food does not have WOW factor but decent. When u are travelling and need halaal foods, this are more than 'just ok'. However in my opinion the price should be $$ rather than $.
Staff was nice. Premis is clean. Another reason i give 4 out of 5, is i saw they provide a space to pray. So visitors, if u cannot make it to your hotel, u could just pray there. Which is a HUGE credit :-) Posted on January 19, 2017 |

★★★★☆ Loved the halal food. Decent quality. Nice place and staff were very good in explaining and serving. Posted on January 2, 2017 |

★☆☆☆☆ Worst Haleem ever.. Customer service less than sub par..if I would have expressed dissatisfaction with a dish anywhere else they would have gladly refunded the Haleem but not here instead they started arguing how it is really good -- NOT RECOMMENDED Posted on July 9, 2016 |

★★☆☆☆ Service was ok and place was somewhat clean. Naan and grilled plate were good. Butter chicken had so much red food coloring that it tasted bad. Nihari was shorba with beef boti. Pricey as well. Would not recommend. Posted on January 6, 2016 |

★★★☆☆ Food was ok. BUT they refused to give us chai even though I ordered it with my food to be served at the end. Manager was rude. Posted on December 30, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ First of all, we would really like to thank the restaurant for letting us in when it was so close to closing time for them. The food was good if a bit over priced. Specifically, we ordered chicken tikka boti which was fine, chapli kababs which just tasted like gallant kababs and not chapli kababs. My husband loves nehari so he ordered that and he was quite disappointed in that. I must admit that we are spoiled by eating in Chicago frequently and this nehari did not compare at all. We ordered naan and onion kulcha and they both looked like naan to us. The biggest problem was the wait time to get the food. We waited for about half an hour before our food came. While waiting, we saw a couple of families waiting to pick up their take-out orders and they had to wait a while. One family waited for about 50 minutes and repeatedly asked to cancel the order to which they were told that it was just coming. When the food finally came they checked and they got naan instead of roti that they had ordered. They were understandably upset and refused to take the food. Nobody apologized to them and they left after getting their refund. Posted on December 26, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ Bathroom horrible. You can see the food is made by Shan packets. Overpriced and never at all nice. Posted on November 22, 2015 |

★★☆☆☆ Extremely over priced $3 for one small sized roti.. Food is fresh but has no taste. For the two people the bill came to be $45 ..each dish is $15 I don't know who are the people who say the food is good maybe that's how they eat at home but food was below average with no taste what so ever. I wouldn't be going back as im here for a 3 day trip. Posted on November 7, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ Food is pricey which I guess is ok for its location and setup. 18% gratuity is included in the bill that is mentioned in the menu. The food we ordered was good and portions were right.
Services was not good. The waiter did not check on us. For the cost that reflects an better establishment they should have better service. Posted on April 5, 2015 |

★☆☆☆☆ Over price garbage food and bad service. Bunch of Desi guys siting outside and laughing we heard them cursing at front of our ladies & kids while we were going in. One of them was owner because when we place our order came inside assuming to cook. These guys have no respect for Muslim families. Would not recommend this place to my enemies. ★★★★☆ Their BBQ items are better then curries and rice.
We tried chicken 65 and mix sizzler plate and it was very delicious.
Prices are on high side but presentation and serving is better then other desi restaurants in town.
I think prices are high because it's on main international drive close to many fun places.
It's must try for desi's visiting Orlando. Posted on August 26, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ Visited on vacation. Food was awful. Karai sauce was ketchup based. Overpriced and just nasty. Wont recommend. Posted on November 27, 2013 |

★★★★★ This is a good place to try while in Orlando. I was there twice with my family, like the food and the service too. The only thing I didn't like is they close at 10:30 pm which is quite early in summers. Posted on September 5, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ UN JUSTIFIED PRICES FOR THE PORTIONS THEY SERVE, THE FOOD IS ALSO NOT SO GOOD AND EVEN NOT FRESH AT ALL?
THEY EVEN DONT KNOW HOW TO COOK BIRYANI!!!,!
OK FOR TOURISTS & VISTORS. Posted on July 24, 2013 |
★★★☆☆ The food was we tried biryani and lamb Karahi. Both if them were truly amazing. 5 star for food.
Granted we arrived 45 minutes before closing, but the level of service poor. Throughout the meal they didn't stop by to ask if we need anything INCLUDING WATER! 0 star for service.
Will try again if I am in the area probably for take out at least I will able to drink water. Posted on July 8, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ The weekend buffet was average. The food itself tasted reasonable but somewhat cold. The selection was also okay. About 3-4 main dishes. Needs more fresh dishes.
The overall presentation was not very appealing. The decor looks old and dingy although the place was relatively clean. The place needs a serious makeover. Staff were friendly. Posted on June 27, 2013 |

★★★★★ Salam. I loved the food here very rich and flavourful. I will be returning here again tomorrow! Posted on June 4, 2013 |

★★★★★ excellent food taste...really is delicious...the goan currys from india standout..also a fan of the cheese naan and the onion naan...great place to eat..it really is.it has been around for very long time..it is because of repeat customers. Posted on May 10, 2013 |

NR Horrible place and food expensive.. We ordered shrimp bryani and from nowhere it looked bryani but rather tomato rice. I will not recommend this place to anyone Posted on November 28, 2012 |
★★★★★ they made delicious lamb curry dishes such as lamb coconut curry dish and lamb with vegetable dish. at least those 2 are my favorite. the menu is more then one would expect. some items are very unique and i have never seen at other halal indian restuarants. the portions are of standard size.not too big, but not small either. will fill you up and taste is very good. Posted on November 20, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Sallam
One of the better Pakistani/Indian places we have eaten at in Orlando, the food and the service was good.
It is expensive but i think it is due to the location as it is on International Drive!!!
Try the butter chicken and samosa chaat as you wont be disappointed.
The decor could do with being updated as it is very old inside. Posted on September 14, 2012 |
★★★★☆ the lamb madras is excellent,..the location is good.clean restuarant, ok ambiance, decent service,..kinda expensive plus quantity is about 75% of what you would expect, especially at this price point, but food is tasty and location of tourist area,.so prices reflect that. still would return. ★★★★★ We had biryani, beef tikka boti, chicken tikka masala, seekh kabob, tandoori chicken and dessert. I felt like I was home and my mother cooked everything. Fast and friendly service. Excellent food Posted on August 25, 2012 |

they got nothing less than 16 dollars Posted on May 8, 2012 |

★★★★★ 5/5 had the buffet when I went for lunch there today. Posted on April 15, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ Tried the tandoori chicken and it was very dry, and did not taste of anything. Nothing came with other than small pices of onions and I was kind of shocked(thought there might be some vegetables involved!). 14$ for maybe 7-8 small chicken pieces and a little onions are way too expensive. Eventough its located in I-Drive. Also no spices no nothing on the chicken. The naan tasted okay, but think I spent way too much money compared to what i was served! Maybe I was just unlucky? Posted on January 7, 2012 |

★★★★★ food was excellent, prices a bit high than other places. Guess it was by Orlando standards for price Posted on December 24, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ Good food, they charge 15% tip on your bill so be careful! Posted on April 23, 2011 |
★★★★★ My wife and I have been here countless times and the food is excellent. My wife loves the papdri chaat here. The chicken tikka masala is savory and delicious as well as the fresh butter naan. This place is a favorite and a must try. Would highly recommend not only for food, but also as reassuredly halal as owners are known Muslims. Posted on March 6, 2011 |
★★★★★ Had the lunch buffet here one weekend. Had many authentic items. Everything was good and the food was fresh. Will stop by again when we are visiting the area Posted on January 3, 2011 |

★★☆☆☆ ..somebody needs to help this place hit the skidz before it's too late..i grew up eating here,.went away for college..come home and hit this place up..only to find everything costing like 50% extra and the portions a LOT smaller..i mean, we used to be able to share entree's cuz they were pretty big..but now..one wo'nt even cut it if your starving..please please please bring back the old school sizler..like it used to be! Posted on September 24, 2010 |

★★★★☆ I visit this Restraunt every time I come to Orlando , the food that I always go for is lamb biryani , karahi chicken and beef boti .We tried the butter chicken as well .
The portions have remained the same however the prices have become astronomically high making it difficult for tourists on a budget .
Also without any advertising they charged a 15 percent gratuity. There was only one server attending the whole place .
The owner should take note of this and pay his employees rather than charge a huge Amt of gratuity . Posted on September 14, 2010 |

★☆☆☆☆ When this restaurant opened (a long, long time ago), I was a fan. However, with time, it has deteriorated in hygiene and service. The staff seem to be friendly. The owner seems dedicated on showing customers that she is doing THEM a favor. Besides that, the food is ok. I like the mixed grill, but the portions have become smaller. Posted on July 18, 2010 |
★★★☆☆ ..the service is below average..the food varies from very very delicious to downright bad..depending on what you order i suppose..the madras curry was outstanding..but the biryani was a miniscule portion and had things that really put me off..(i.e. what is cauliflower and potatoes doing in chicken biryani?")..which left a "slimy texture" and "clumped the rice"...the dessert was terrible..i would only recomment the curries and the fresh naans..forgoe everything else..your taking an expensive chance! ★★★★★ i went to sizler the food and service r gooddddd and is so clean restaurant in orlando i want for lot of restaurant but i am not happy at all but want i go to sizler is really i like food and service.......all muslims should to sizler ..... Posted on December 9, 2009 |

★★★★☆ Sizler brings an authentic homecook flavor to Orlando landscape. I have tried the traditional, like nihari and qorma, and I have tried BBQ too. I have found the taste to be truly North Indian and Pakistani. Service has been excellent and staff seem to be truly genuine in pleasing you.
One area of improvement is cleanliness. I think the carpet and bathrooms need an overhaul. Posted on September 13, 2009 |

NR Food is overpriced and average. The service was horrible. We asked for a larger table since the restaurant was empty and we were very crowded on our small table, but the waitress refused to help us out. Didn't like the location either. It's right next to a tattoo parlor and wasn't very kid friendly. Won't be going back again. Posted on March 9, 2009 |

★★★★★ Food and service were both great. Restaurant is very clean. Soda's were cold as well. I make it a point to mention that because a lot of Indian/Pakistani restaurants I've been to serve warm soda Posted on December 31, 2008 |
★★☆☆☆ The place look clean, but it took them 45 mins to prepare chicken karahi & biryani
portions were so small, and price was high
over all D- Posted on November 23, 2008 |

★★★★☆ The food at Sizler is fantastic. It is a bit expensive, but cheaper than the other Indo-Pak restaurants in the vicinity. The portions are also quite small. Usually when we go out to eat we have leftovers.
The only problem that I had with Sizler was some patrons that were there. I know that it wasn't their fault, but some girls at a table near me couldn't stop running their mouths, to the point where I decided to take the food to go. Like I said, it's not their fault per se, but it killed the atmosphere of going out to eat. Posted on November 2, 2008 |

★★★★☆ we ordered for take-away based on recommendations from a friend. just simple stuff like tikka masala, spinach/paneer, and naans. food was pretty good, tasty with the right amount of spice, though the tikka masala was more green bell pepper than chicken. the ladies taking care of our order looked a bit put upon to be serving us though -- couldn't come up with plastic utensils and made a face when i asked for plates (we were staying in a hotel). restaurant is also unfortunately right across from a club/bar which makes it undesirable for hanging out with family. i rate it above avg on food, average-to-poor on service and decor. Posted on May 19, 2008 |
★★★★★ I have been there several times this year alone. The food and decor is excellent. I have had mainly tandoori/grilled meats. Fresh naans are the best in town. The wait can be long, but we usually order in advance. Posted on May 20, 2007 |
★☆☆☆☆ I can not recommend this to any one. Food was ok but the area where it is located was not good. Just on the entrance a group of people (and I think including owners) were drinking beer. people there were using awful language. I will never go there again. Posted on May 6, 2007 |
★★★★☆ The food was very tasty but at the same time very expensive and quantity was also very small.Only one person can eat in one serving of Chcken Karhai(etc).Still, I'll recommend it becuase it was far better than Shalimar where we first day wasted our time and money. Posted on December 7, 2006 |
★★★★☆ Food is fine and place is clean. Portion is big where each Biryani would easily serves 2 people. Price on the high side, but again that's Orlando where everybody makes money in this tour city. Posted on June 28, 2006 |
★★★★☆ The food here was EXCELLENT. My first taste of Indian food actually. Samosas were delicious. The lunch buffet was not as good as ordering off the dinner menu. The girl who served us was very impatient and even a little rude, but they were busy. All in all, a very good Indian restaurant. Posted on April 19, 2006 |
★★★★★ Food was better then ever. If you are looking for quality, tast and freshnes of food then Sizler is the place. Owner is very well known in Muslim community in Orlando. I tried many dishes here and they were above my expectation. If You are looking for a good Halal Pakistani food then this is your STOP. Posted on January 26, 2006 |
★★★★☆ I asked them if the meat is Zabiha, they assured me it was slaughtered by muslims. The food had a great taste and authentic. It is pricy. I recommend it. Posted on December 22, 2005 |
★★★★☆ We went there twice because the food is nice and tasty. Great naans, tikka, veg curry and even briyani. However service is really, really slow, and the price is slightly on the higher side. Ambience is restaurant like, cosy and warm but you gotta wait. Posted on November 29, 2005 |
★★★★☆ Good food good hospitality Posted on September 13, 2005 |
★★★☆☆ This restaurant is so-so...too expensive for students like myself...they put too much sugar in the mango lassi, and too much raita in the kabob roll Posted on August 28, 2005 |
★★★☆☆ Ate here last night, after reviewed at this website. EXCELLENT Halal Food, but very overpriced. # main entrees with soda/mango juice and I paid $56.00
I have eaten at numerous halal places, but this was much more expensive for similar places Posted on July 26, 2005 |
★★★★☆ Good Pakistani food, but a little too much coriander for my liking. Had no problems with the girl/woman serving, who was very nice (maybe I'm not her type ;). Beware, though -- the portions are *huge* so don't make the mistake of ordering a starter and main course for each of you (like we did). Prices were a little high, I thought (but then it is on I-drive). Posted on June 4, 2005 |
★★★★★ Food was good but not quite as good as the UK Balti Houses. The service was excellent.Prices were very reasonable for Orlando. Posted on September 19, 2004 |

★★★★★ Great food, food selection, service, and price. Go check it out. Posted on August 15, 2004 |
★★★☆☆ When i went to Sizzler there was no woman and the owner served us. he was a very nice man. Even though the food was not that good the ambiance is nice but the food needs great improvement. the Nehari was low portioned and the meat was hot on the outside and cold hard in the inside. prices were pretty high. though the owner was nice so we didnt tell him it it would have hurt him. Posted on August 10, 2004 |

★★★★☆ Food was very good, tasted like home cooked food and fresh. while the food was great, i dohave to say that the girl that played as a waitress/hostess ought to pay more attention to her job and less time paying attention to MARRIED men. my husband and i went there and she couldn't stop leering at him. obviously, this girl needs to understand that this is a respectable dining institution where many customers (especially families and children) are there for the food only. we felt extremely uncomfortable by her inappropriate actions and seductive body language, but otherwise food is very good and the chef knows what he's doing. try the tandoori chicken, it is excellent. Posted on June 15, 2004 |

★★★★★ Excellent food and customer service. Dinner buffet had many items, even fish. The quality of food was good at affordable price. I want to thank the Sizler team for providing halal food to Muslims. May Allah (swt) reward them for the good efforts, Ameen. Posted on June 14, 2004 |
