Our story began 22 years ago in Eastern Saudi city of Al-Khobar. Our philosophy was plain and simple: Feed people the same food which we like to feed our own family. Freshest, healthiest ingredients and tastiest possible the way it can. By the grace of God our success story was written and we expanded across the Middle East. Here we come to Orlando, our new home, and we are offering same old simple philosophy. We will inspire you with our taste and that's the basic goal we bring here in our beautiful city of Orlando. ★★★★★ Awesome halal restaurant Alhamdulillah!
Seemed like close to authentic Turkish meal!
All chicken is hand slaughtered and also lamb and beef is from Apnabazaar they say.
We ordered chicken and lamb Adana platter with lentil soup with lavash( fresh hot bread). We were four with two kids. Very juicy kebabs and lots of salad. They were kind to also give us a free special yogurt based item which tasted awesome! And fresh kunafa was a delicious dessert...
Great ambience..
Thanks for their hospitality.. Posted on November 28, 2019 |

★★★☆☆ went here for the first time to try the Turkish food. A nice feature is that they state their meats are grass fed. The décor is very nice. The food has a very unique twist on Turkish food presenting a more modernized urban take rather than the classic dishes. As for the value, the meal portions to price combination seem imbalanced but if you factor in the atmosphere there may be additional value for dine-in customers. It is nice that it is located in the Apna Bazaar Plaza with many other halal restaurants. ample free parking and not too far from the tourist hub of Universal/SeaWorld/IDrive. ★★★☆☆ the menu price is expensive here, by about 25% more and the food quantity is about 20% less if compared to competitive pricing and portion size. however, they emphasize they only use hand cut meat, where majority of other restaurants use machine cut meat. so there is an added expense that understandably gets passed on to the consumers, i take exception to the previous person review comparing this Istanbul Grill to another established Turkish restaurant, the distinction is some of the other established restaurants, have food that actually is well seasoned and marinated and flavorful, what we have here is a mixed bag, some of the entree's are well seasoned, it is evident it was marinated and prepared with love, other entree's taste like a hodge podge of a boiled mess, a complete disaster, i lived many years in Turkey and Bulgaria, and i can assure you, some of the entrees they prepare here are a true disservice to the food of Turkey, if you come here, order the kebabs, especially the minced kebabs, they are delicious, avoid all other menu items, they do not know how to make them properly. also, be prepared to spend a premium, but also realize the meat quality is hand cut, and meat is tender,so can't compare apples to oranges to other halal meat restaurants, that use machine slaughter, but this restaurant menu is on two extremes a mixed bag..one half of the menu is tasty and flavorful, the other half of the menu, is tastless and the cooks don't have a clue to what they are preparing,. so i suggest, they trim down the menu to items, they know they can properly prepare, and remove the items, that are tasting poorly. just my opinion. eat more chicken, red meat is not healthy. ★★★★★ when dining out a few things matter to me: 1) handcut zabihah 2) cleanliness 3) service. This restaurant has all that, the restaurant is new, very clean (including bathrooms) and the staff wipe down/sweep after customers leave. Food presentation and taste was very good, not to mention handcut zabihah halal. The service was good, we were asked constantly if everything was ok, drinks refilled, and the portions are generous. Some people complain about the price, but if you go elsewhere, like bosphorus and what not, you will probably pay more. I think the food is priced fairly for what your getting. ★★★☆☆ i believe this newly opened establishment is going through a period of growing pains..one thing that irked me more than anything is MISREPRESENTATION of the food in the photos that are shown to the customer, and what is actually arriving to the dinner table. maybe the concept is similiar but the execution is NOT. i was NOT aware the food photos were NOT authentic of their own menu options. i believe this is a franchise? of some kind? maybe the photos shown on the menu are from a different location? i did not mind the taste, food was prepared in a light healthy manner..i just disliked seeing photos that gave me different expectations and impressions than what was being presented to us on the dinner table. bait & switch tactics are being used with the misleading photos in the menu pages, that being said..the food items tasted fresh, just NOT what i was expecting, working under presumption that the menu photo's were actually their OWN offerings, but maybe they were photos off the internet? just speculating,..we did try different dishes, and nothing shown in their menu photos looked like what was on our served dinner plates presentation wise...remember we also eat with our eyes. ★★★★★ We came for the Pilaf but stayed for the Kunafe! Excellent food prepared with such pristine cleanliness. Prices are super cheap compared to other Middle East and Turkish restaurants. Highly recommended. Posted on November 24, 2018 |

★★★☆☆ NOT reasonably priced..it's menu pricing is more on the premium tier side, it might be because they claim ALL meat is "hand cut halal" versus "machine cut halal" that other restaurants use to cut down costs..the portion size served is "ok" ..expected a little more for the price. the dining room is very clean..service is lacking and needs improvement ..it is family oriented restaurant located next door to Apna Bazaar in the same plaza.
