★★★★★ Bacon Cheeseburger was out of this world. Love this restaurant. Always good, clean and fast service. Posted on July 30, 2016 |

★★★★★ Yes! Yes! Yes! Finally a restaurant that gets it!
1) The process to get food is clearly marked. There are 2 signs: 1) order here and 2) Pay here. The moment you walk in the door it is clearly obvious what you need to do to get food.
2) The food is fast! Seriously! We wanted a side order of fries to hold us over until our food arrived, so upon picking up the menus we placed the order (expecting it to take 10-15 minutes as per most halal restaurants). TWO minutes later our fries were up. Seriously - 2 minutes!!!
3) The staff was friendly! There were two gentlemen manning the front of the house. Both looked up and smiled when we walked in. Upon approaching the counter they responded to the Islamic greeting. And when our food was ready the only male in our party was in the restroom (because we really did not expect it to be so fast) and so a female in our party began to approach the counter for pick-up. The gentlemen realized this and insisted on bringing the food to our table rather than let one of the ladies carry the tray across to our table. Very unexpected, and incredibly nice.
3) The facility was extremely clean! It is self-service to the point where you are expected to put your tray away and throw away your own trash, yet the tables and chairs are wiped down and cleaned constantly. They keep the ketchup and hot sauce bottles behind the counter (instead of on the table) and when you receive one it has obviously been cleaned and wiped recently - no sticky residue here!
4) The menu had a great selection of American food as well as some Indian staples so there was something for just about everyone.
5) The burger was a freshly made patty served on a fresh bun with vegetables that were crisp. We each ordered the Karacheese burgers, but vowed to go back for the Thai Pepper burger soon!
Only down side for us - the chicken was NOT hand cut. But if you are looking for a burger this is certainly the destination! Posted on February 10, 2016 |

★★★★☆ Thai Spice Burger is amazing. Chicken broast was average. Have not tried the other menu items. Seating is decent. Price is reasonable. Would return to try the other Pakistani food items. Posted on December 24, 2015 |

★★★★☆ Usually a place that has both American and desi food has solid desi food and not so good American food. Not this place. We had the burgers and they were done perfectly. The broast chicken too was proper southern. Friendly with a sense of humor. The cooks weren't desi which maybe why the American food was so good. Only gripe is pita bread with the chicken broast...eh? Posted on August 3, 2015 |

★★★★★ If you are in the Atlanta area DO NOT MISS THIS RESTAURANT. Best halal philly cheese steak I've ever had in my life. The bread was warm and soft and not flaky and tough like most places. Lots of meat that was not dry. However, I would've eased off on a bit of the salt and added a little more cheese. The fries were perfect. Crispy and well done. The pepper wings were good but again I'd put way less salt. The chicken tikkah was good. Chai and lassi was also good. Owners r friendly and the restaurant has a prayer area which is amazing. Price is very reasonable. Posted on January 12, 2014 |

★☆☆☆☆ Place is gross! And it use to be a bar! The owners are racist and the food is grease or over cooked! Don't waste your money, sorry. Posted on June 7, 2013 |

★☆☆☆☆ Salaam Aleykum,
It is shame that the owner of this resturant who call themselves muslim selling there chicken items as Zabihah Halal. Just to save few dollars they are selling there Emaan.
Machine Cut is Haram and if you think machine cut from resturant depot is Zabihah Halal then there is something really wrong about you.
I came to your resturant 3 times and everytime you told me it is Zabihah Halal but you gave me Haram.
You made me really angry. May Allah guide you to the write path and save other muslims from you.
If you fear Allah swt and Hell then please stop selling Machine Cut(Haram) chicken. Posted on April 21, 2013 |
Dear Reg pass,we notice that you have written same review word by word for 3 restaurants on the same day.Nevertheless thanks for your heartfelt and emotional review.. As you know at Karachi Broast we really value our customers feed backs and comments They help us understand the need to change or modify recipes, re-train employees on customer service etc. But your complain requires an answer that is not emotional but logical and nothing but truth. So please know that we sell only certified Halal chicken. And yes Restaurant Depot is one of the places that we buy chicken from . They buy chicken from a company that is certified by the Islamic Society Of Greater Washington. May be that is the reason why most of the halal restaurants in Atlanta buy chicken from there. These are the restaurants that are often frequented by Imams and scholars of our community. Dear brother we are in business to serve Halal food and make halal money, not to give Fatwas. Even among the scholars who can give fatwa there are difference of opinions about this issue.Just like on the issue of buying houses and cars on interest loan. But we also understand that there is a small but growing number of muslim brothers and sisters who now prefer hand cut chicken only and we respect that and soon Inshaallah will carry only hand cut chicken. |

★★★★☆ It is a great to dine with friends and family. Spacious area for sitting which also offers a small prayer area. The owner seems like a pretty friendly guy overall and has good intentions. I had the gyro with fries. It was not big in portions but tasty. I would come back to try their other stuff iA. Posted on February 12, 2013 |

★★★★★ First time in Atlanta, visited Karachi Broast in Norcross today. Service was good, server was very friendly, and above all the "beef boti platter" was delicious. Went up to talk to one of the owner 'Muhib', and he appreciated my feedback and mentioned he takes the feedback at zabihah.com very seriously. Posted on September 6, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ Tried this place last month with the family. Prices were reasonable but the food is way below average in taste and quality. Pretty bland taste...they need a lot improvement. Posted on July 7, 2012 |

★★★★★ Despite some people claiming that the food is too spicy, the place is unclean, and that the prices are too high, I have to say that all these claims are false. I have been going to Karachi Broast for years with my family, and whenever we plan to eat out, this restaurant is always one of my top options. I have tried the Chicken Tenders, Zinger Burger, Grilled Chicken Burger, Tandoori Chicken Burger, and Philly Cheese Steak. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious, but my all-time favorite is the Zinger Burger. Prices are very reasonable, and they offer many options for side dishes (fries are my favorite). The atmosphere is family-friendly, there is a private prayer room, the place is very clean and has ample seating space. Overall, one of the top restaurants in Atlanta. Posted on July 6, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ reasonable prices and service is okay.just a bit too spicy for my taste but still good food. Posted on May 27, 2012 |

★★★★★ The BEST place in Atlanta for halal food. The service is flawless everytime. I have been going here since it opened. I really do feel that the owners/managers take comments on here seriously since I have noticed only an improvement in their food and environment. My thanks and appreciation to them for that. The american menu items taste authentically AMERICAN, same with the desi items. Very balanced menu. So if you have 'desi taste' order desi sounding items (like tandoori burger, or the paratha rolls, chicken tandoori roast, etc) and if you want american food (then order the cheeseburger, philly cheesesteak, zinger burger, etc) and don't be disappointed that the american items taste 'bland' according to the desi palate. All items in my opinion are flavorful, fresh, and crave worthy good! Good luck to them. Posted on May 15, 2012 |

★★★★★ Visiting Atlanta on business and found this restaurant on Zabihah. I must say, one of the top 10 restaurants in North America. Great ambiance, great owners, and excellent food. I visited this place 3 times during my stay in Atlanta and ordered both the Spicy beef and chicken philly sandwich. Even for a big guy like me, the portion sizes are truly super sized. I also ordered the Zinger burger, was also great. Must go for anybody in Atlanta looking for a quick halal bite :-) Well done! Posted on March 12, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Asalaam Alikum, i was there for lunch, clean place, the decor looks like it used to be a club/bar. service was average, placed our order and paid when it came. We ordered chicken tikka roll and seekh kabob roll, they don't roll them in naan but a light paratha type bread. Chicken tikka was spot on, but can't say the same for the seekh kabob the taste just wasn't there, it was spicy for sure but it wasn't a seekh kabob.. There were plenty of other things on the menu. I would probably return. Posted on February 26, 2012 |

★★★☆☆ I loved Karachi Zinger Burger, priced little higher than anyone expecting crescent chicken - but now I have mixed feeling about their Chicken. Brother-in-Islam (owner of Karachi Grill) please in this open forum please declare where you bring your chicken from? Is it Crescent or just Plain Halal or from "Restaurant Depot". Please honestly declare us the place you bring chicken from. It will be very helpful for me and all Muslims around Atlanta... JazakAllah Posted on February 22, 2012 |
Dear brother,Thank you for your business.Your concern is understandable. We, at Karachi take this matter seriously. So much so that Georgia Congressman Rep.Tom Price of Norcross introduced a house Bill on behalf of Mr.Arman Anwer(owner of Karach Broast). This Bill would have made it illegal to sell Non-Halal meat as Halal with a $10,000 fine.We sell only certified Halal meat from multiple vendors. At this time our vendors are Iqra in Lilburn Ga and Restaurant Depot in Norcross.Iqra is owned by a locally known Muslim brother and Restaurant Depot sells halal meat certified by Islamic Council Of greater Washington. Certificates are posted at both Vendors' places of business and at the restaurant.Once again your business is always appreciated at Karachi and thanks for inviting us to this open forum...Jazakallah |

★★★★★ Wallahi, his is officially my favorite place to eat in all of America.
I've eaten at halal restaurants throughout America, but nothing beats Karachi Broast and Grill.
I ordered a well-done steak and told the owner that I want it to be amazing, not good, but amazing. Wow, he completely blew me away! Every piece in my mouth was sizzling goodness! I really enjoyed my food 100% thoroughly with every bite!
To top it off, I ordered their hot brownie w/ Ice cream on top for dessert...it was nothing short of AMAZING.
The best part of it all: you don't feel bloated because of the food at all. You can actually walk around and not feel nasty.
5 stars for Karachi Broast and Grill. I hope that they can keep it up, inshaAllah! Posted on January 6, 2012 |

★★★★★ We try to come here whenever we are in Atlanta. I love their Karachi (spicy) take on the burgers, philly cheese steak, and broast. Very nice!
Lately I think their ventillation is out/down so it has been quite hard to sit through a meal with just the big fans running. Hopefully they will get their air conditioning fixed soon! Posted on September 6, 2011 |

★★★★★ I'm a student visiting the area and didn't know anyone. I found a few halal places, but most don't deliver and other places were too pricey. For students, prices are fair and reasonable. Unlike typical Desi food, this food is fit for people who enjoy American food but with flavor! Overall food was great! My other friends also ordered and enjoyed it. The owners accommodated me and since I had no car, they delivered. Posted on May 23, 2011 |

Taste 1.5/5
Place 2/5 Posted on March 13, 2011 |
Dear Zabihaboy,we are sorry your visit was not pleasant..but with each comment, especially the negative ones we try to better ourselves. In your case I am having hard time to understand your concern.Let me start one by one.1.what is wrong with using tandoori seasoning in broast?(even though there are seven other spices in there) 2. Broast are not supposed to be crunchy(next time ask for crispy and we will make it accordingly).3.Yes.the place used to be a bar just like there are Masajids that used to be churches(Alhamdulillah). and 5. Every day we recieve awesome comments about our food and service but the most frequent comments are about how well maintained and clean the place is.That is why we at Karachi would like to invite you to come again show us what unclean is in our restarant and your meal will be free. Once again thanks for the comment. |

★★☆☆☆ I like this place for its atmosphere, the food on the other hand could be better... too many desi spices used in his burgers but I guess that is what you get for going to a place called KARACHI broast and grill. Posted on November 25, 2010 |
Dear i2acy, Your comment was duly noted and appreciated.Since your comment we did a focus group survey and found that you were right.Since then have reduced the amount of spices in all the spicy items in our menu. Looking forward to your next visit. While there please feel free to give us your feed back. ....Thanks |

★★★★★ I eat here with friends and family at least once a week.
Great place to try the different indo-pak specialties with a fast-food twist.
Service is great and the prices are very reasonable. Posted on July 5, 2010 |

|
★★★★☆ This is a good place for take out kabobs (chicken, ground beef). For a place that can be considered as a fast food restaurant, they make some very tasty kabobs. The prices are reasonable too. A dish can go from $5-12. The kabobs are served with fries too (or coleslaw), so it's a nice place to go when you are short on time for a lunch break and have a kabob craving.
The only thing I would stay away from is their spicy food that contains the thai pepper. I enjoy spicy food, but when I tried the thai burger, all I could taste was pepper, no meat, no bread or cheese. If they could cut back on the amount they put on the sandwiches, it would make it 10x better. Posted on June 2, 2010 |

★★★★★ The first time we went to Karachi broast was in October 2009 and we have been going there regularly ever since. The food is really good, we've tried nearly everything on the menu except the salads ( huge bowls with chunky meat servings w/ salad) , but the last time i went i saw someone having it and am tempted to try it the next time i go. There is a small prayer area, a children's play area (just ok), and two family rooms where u can eat in privacy. Staff is friendly, service and prices are good. Wud definitely recommend it to all!! Posted on May 11, 2010 |

★★★★★ The Burgers (Karachi burger and chicken tender burger) were amazing. The chicken broast was really good as well, a little over fried, but they have captured a great taste. The garlic sauce is amazing (similar to al-baik in saudi). The service is really good and the place is overall clean. Posted on May 4, 2010 |

★★★★★ This place is amazing MashAllah. I went there for the first time in October of 2009, though it's been around for a little longer than that. Too bad I didn't discover it earlier! The food is amazing: there is a selection of mostly American food (some with a desi twist) and a few desi items (tandoori chicken, chicken boti kabab). I've tried the following and they are all superb: tandoori chicken burger, zinger burger, karachi burger, thai burger, and chicken broast. The thai burger is a spicy burger and is really good but my favorite is the tandoori chicken burger. The entire staff is extremely nice and always greets you with a smile. There is also a prayer room, a play room for the kids, and some closed off rooms for those who want some privacy with their family. A+ for food and service! Posted on April 29, 2010 |

★★★★★ I came from Sacramento to visit friends in the area and took them to Karatchi Broast & Grill as our final dinner together. I was very impressed. The food was inexpensive and very good - I had the zinger burger and it was yummy! They have private dining for families (ie women who cover can eat with their husbands and children) and even a prayer area. I would consider moving to ATL just because the city has such places as Karatchi Broast & Grill! Posted on March 8, 2010 |

★★★★★ I've been here three or four times in past few months, main thing that's pretty good is everything is very consistent, a lot of desi places are a hit and miss. But the food is consistently good. Try boti kabab platter, and thai burger. Posted on September 10, 2009 |

★★★★★ It's nice to finally have a halal/zabiyah burger joint in Atlanta. I have only tried the Zinger Burger and Karachi burger thus far, but both were very tasty (especially the Zinger burger). I expected the Karachi cheeseburger to have more spice or "Karachiness" to it, but regardless it was still a decent cheeseburger. The french fries are really -really- tasty (crispy on the outside, soft on the inside).
The resturant itself is in good condition. They have separate play areas for children which was a great idea. Service is excellent. Posted on September 3, 2009 |

★★☆☆☆ This place needs a lot of help. I went there with 4 office friends and was thoroughly disappointed. First, the broast chicken is not broast but deep fired KFC style chicken and is quite tasteless. Second, they have no service at all. We reminded the guy behind the counter 3 times for water but did not get any. He was the only person working during lunch hour and was making our food, taking orders over the phone. We had to aks for Ketchup, plates, flatware etc. repeatedly and in the end had to go hunt for the stuff ourselves. Did not try their steaks yet and probably would not go there again. ★★☆☆☆ Unfortumately, our family did not have a very good experience at this place. The broasted chickent is nowhere close to what is termed as broasted. Instead, it was large pieces of fried chicken which very quite tasteless and incompletely cooked from inside. The coating had no taste or flavoring to it. The grilled chicken sandwich was okay and the four inch philly cheese steak sub was average. The only average item were buffalo wings. Definitely needs alot of improvement. Not worth a second visit at all. Posted on November 23, 2008 |

★★★★★ I've been to Karachi Broast, What a Great news for Muslim Steak lovers without comprimising thier belief. Definitely the best steak in town. I cannot say I have been impressed with the great atmosphare, but each time we have eaten here, we have been served a good meal. When ordering an item from the dinner menu, you get authentic taste of that entree like Chicken Broast Taste like Chicken Broast, Grilled Chicken Tender & Juicy, Gyro with real meditarian taste potato, a vegetable side, and dessert. They serve so much food, that I plan in advance to take some of my meal home with me and I always try to leave a little room for dessert.
I guess this is the only Halal restuarant in town where your tastebud wont compromise with taste..... Posted on November 5, 2008 |
