★★★★★ My favorite halaal grocery store in the Aurora/Naperville area. They seem to have the biggest selection out of all the halaal stores that I've been to. The brothers in there are very friendly and they're always serving free tea to customers, a very delicious in-house blend that they make. Normally I'm a coffee drinker (they sell whole-bean coffee too!) but their tea is great, I'm not sure if they sell it but they should. The brothers there are always very helpful, whether offering to help take groceries to the car or recommending a particular ingredient, JazaakumAllah Khair.
The small restaurant inside is also very tasty, it's a convenient halaal spot when we don't want to drive further than 10-15 minutes. It's designed for take-out but they also have a few tables available, which is nice when I want to just sit down and let my wife handle all the shopping.
They also sell Islamic books, prayer mats, hijabs, miswaks, scented oils, etc. which is always appreciated.
The only negative about this place is that they play music and sell tobacco and hookah paraphernalia. For some reason many Muslims think music and hookah are permissible, but they aren't. Allahu musta'an. Of course, no one of us is perfect.
Aside from this, this is still the best halaal grocery store in the area and I would recommend it to everyone. Just stay out of that hookah isle ;) Posted on February 18, 2018 |

★★★★★ I don't usually read reviews before walking into a place, preferring to form my own unbiased opinion. This restaurant delighted me both times I've gone in the last two weeks: friendly service, clean and odor-free, plenty of variety and quantity, and delicious hot fresh food.
There are some tables at the side of the marker, served by a separate kitchen and take out area. I would consider this fast casual, and excellent for regular carryout. Eating in gives you the full experience, including their wonderful tea, and should be enjoyed in a relaxed manner. You can go wrong with the carrier of middle Eastern staples prepared to perfection; we'll be back soon, hope to see you there. Posted on November 13, 2016 |

★★★★★ Mashaallah this is the best Muslim grocery store I've been to. Clean, organized, well-stocked but all that aside, they have excellent manners and courtesy. From serving you tea to calling you by name every time you come, these guys are the best. The takeout food is excellent and of high quality and I have no worries feeding my family with it, unlike other fast food type places. The halal meat is the best quality I've ever got and I get my meat exclusively from this place now. Posted on April 3, 2014 |

★★★★★ Can't say enough about the quality and taste of the food in their restaurant. Always fresh and large quantities. Very friendly service throughout as well. Their Ouzi and lamb shank are the best things I've had on their menu (have not tried many other things though). Will definitely go back and try more things. Posted on November 1, 2018 |

★★★☆☆ We were visiting the area from Canada and found this place as a halal lunch option. Bought chicken shawarma and mix platter (beef and chicken) plates. Chicken had a lot of fat in it but beef was better. Overall the taste was not bad. Hummus and salad were good but the quantity was a bit on the stingy side. The pita was amazing.
Recommend doing a take out as it is mainly a grocery store and not a dine-in restaurant. Posted on September 7, 2015 |

★★★★★ Everything is great! Prices could be better though! Posted on June 6, 2015 |

★★★☆☆ Been here multiple times over the year. Always a hit or miss, when its a hit its awesome food, masha'Allah. but when its a miss, its a bad miss. Plus I feel over the years, their quantity has gone down and prices gone up, they over charge you. They also have tendency of getting the order wrong, for whatever reason. If they maintain the consistency and portion size with reasonable prices then this place would rock! Posted on May 8, 2015 |

★★★★★ Absolutely love the Wednesday special "ouzie" which is roast lamb with rice. Kibbeh are also delicious. The mixed grill was pretty good too. Would forego the fish. Posted on April 30, 2015 |

NR I love buying my groceries, meat and bakery goods here. Weekly at least once I ordered meals made by Sami who does a fantastic job cooking the food. I have yet to eat Lamb or Goat better cooked than what Sami can make.
Good job guys, keep up the good work. Posted on July 30, 2014 |

★★☆☆☆ I got the Chicken Kabob Dinner plate (9.99). First and foremost, this option comes with hummus, as opposed to the similar lunch plate (6.99). Even though I got the dinner, I was not given any hummus, very disappointed.
The taste of the chicken was awful, it was burnt. Chicken kabob is meant to be made with white meat, but my kabobs were a mixture of dark meat.
The labenah garlic sauce was alright, it could use more tang to it. Overall, GO TO PITAVILLE. It is much better, for chicken kabobs at least.
Other people around me got the chicken schwarma and it did look better than my plate.
Seating arrangements are not appropriate for family dinners. Posted on January 25, 2014 |
Salam,
We appreciate your review of our store and we thank you for coming but we do have to correct you on couple of your points in light of the fact that you decided to comment on zabihah.com. First of all the dinner doesn't guarantee you hummos. If you decided on garlic sauce that is what you get. You get one or the other. If the chef misheard you in your request for garlic sauce i apologize for that but you don't get both. The dinner is 9.99 because you get extra rice and an extra skewer not because you get the hummos which is the intention you gave readers and that is not fair. Secondly chicken kabob white meat is 10.99 and is listed as such under its real name shish tawouk. Its on the menu and furthermore chicken kabob is not always served as white meat but shish tawouk is. The vast majority of the customers like the dark meat and we will continue to offer it. As far as the quality of chicken kabob being burnt I apologize for that as well. Also, we started as a grocery store with carry out only and due to high demand we put in the tables. While your intention to say that is not suitable for large families is fair it would have been nice to indicate that this is really mainly a grocery store rather than just coming off like your insulting the place. Finally, we are looking to expand and hopefully we will be able to better accommodate larger groups. thank you.

★★★★★ Great selection. Best place for deli meats and steaks (ribeye, filet, t-bone) and all other "rarer" meats like ribs though you might need to specifically call and order those. Meat guy seems angry all the time - kind of like the soup nazi, but he's cool. Turkey was good. Fantastic grocery selection. Restaurant food (takeout only more or less) is fantastic for the area. ★★★★★ The food and grocery here is excellent. We bought lamb shanks from here which were super high-quality. We also tried the restaurant items like chicken kabob, kefta kabob, and shawarma, all of which were delicious. Highly recommend this place. Only thing to be aware of is the dining area is really small and is not suitable for big groups. It also gets cold in the winter with the front door constantly opening and closing. ★★★★★ Arguably the best halal meat store in Chicagoland - big selection of groceries and meats including the widest selection of halal cold cuts and deli meats that I have ever seen: turkey breast, salamis, pastrami, etc. There's a small restaurant counter that is better than most full-fledged middle eastern restaurants. Single biggest reason to move to Naperville. Posted on September 28, 2011 |

★★★★★ Excellent customer service, the staff is genuine and very friendly. The owner serves tea if you go in the morning. The place is clean and well stocked. Good choice of Middle-Eastern products.
Very exhaustive and selected cheese varieties. If notning at all, I'll go back for their hospitality. Posted on August 21, 2010 |

★★★★★ One of the cleanest grocery stores I have ever been too, and the prices seemed good too , Deep naan were the same price as Devon Street which is not the case in any other grocery store in the area.
Food is good too just a little bit over priced. Posted on August 13, 2007 |

★★★★★ food is great but pricey.
eg. the shawarma has awesome meat but barely fills you up
dinner trays are yummy.
nice folks though. Posted on June 7, 2007 |

★★★★★ The take out food here is excellent. It's owned by a Palestenian Family and the cook I think is the owner's uncle and another person. I ordered their chicken kabob and lamb kabob to go for dinner and they give you plenty for 2 people and the food was excellent. I hope their food value remains in that quality even after they become more popular and get higher customer service. Their sandwiches to go are great as well as my family has tried them. And they carry plenty of grocery stuff and Islamic CDs and Quran/Islamic books as well. Highly recommend it. Posted on May 10, 2007 |
