★★★★★ We went to King Kebab tonight and called ahead to verify the Iskender kabob would be available, as they sometimes run out of the donair meat, but they had it today. It was delicious, and the service was incredibly great. The lovely lady there changed the television channel to cartoons for my son, didn't charge us for his food, and was extremely pleasant. 100% recommended. Thank you for such a lovely night. ★★★★★ Honestly, the ADANA BURGER is one of the best burgers I have ever had. The best halal "ethnic burger" in Toronto, hands down. It is worth the 10 minute wait. I would skip the fries (too oily), but the burger... oh my....
If I didn't stress it enough, I think the adana burger is one of the best kept secrets at Dixie Plaza. Go for it! Posted on December 4, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Food is good.. have eaten many times.. Prices slightly on the costly side but that is okay since quality is good.
Only negative is server is too damn slow! If they limited the wait times for food then 5 stars!
I will return to eat but please get faster service. Posted on February 21, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ good food not so good service
our order, 2 mix kebab, 2 adana burgers extra pita bread, and frech cut cries
i went to king kebab with my family as a getaway from the usual resturants we go to (paramount) we got two mixed kebabs (consisting of one of every type of kebab) which i recommend for first time go-ers because it was a good mix of all the kebabs with rice pita bread so it lets you get a taste for them and the waiterest had assured us that this would be more than enough for our family of 6 turns out it was barley enough for 2 people per plate, we ended up also ordering two adana burgers and some fries, which were good and i liked the way they were served. you get a plate which includes the burger and fries with some veggies (lettues onion and tomatos) in a small bow. over all the taste was good but she brought pita bread when we were almost done eating and we waited a total of twenty minuites after we were done eating before our fries arrived. it was good but the service was slow, not good enough for me to recommend to a friend, but good if ur willing to try something new. ★★★★★ Adana kebab is the best!! Not a fancy place but nice place to have a good meal with friends if not in a rush. Ask for sauces with your kebab and will add to the experience. Posted on February 8, 2013 |

★★★★☆ Tried it, and the food is good. The mix grill platter was not big enough for two people *Ahem*, and for the steep price, it's definitely not the "value". But every bit of it tastes great. The meat texture is the key here, very nicely done. Very friendly staff tho. Very neat and clean place.
However, the prices are steep. You could eat two big meals for the price of one mix grill platter elsewhere. And a $10 for a flippin' burger... tsk.
Overall a good eatery and definitely worth the try if you want to taste Turkish Cuisine. Posted on November 24, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Great new restaurant imo....there's a bamiyam and Kara Mia in the same plaza but I prefer this to bamiyam. It's Turkish and not Afghani but to be honest....the food is similar to me. The difference is that their food quality is much better especially the texture of their meat and their quantity is good. The other nice thing is that it's not as crowded as bamiyam and doesn't feel like as much of a fast-food place.
It's also new so their menu is fairly limited but I'd recommend the chicken/beef shish kabobs and adana (sp?) kababs). They actually ran out of meat in their kitchen while we were there so they had to turn other people away and this was on Saturday night so go before 8 PM if you're gonna go on Fri/Sat or call and check.
Would be a 5 star review if not for the limited menu and other problems that come with a new restaurant so hopefully they fix it. Posted on March 8, 2012 |

★★★★☆ We were hesitant at first, because they didn't have a bunch of entree's available. The all-you-can-eat was not available either. (We went saturday evening -- around 7pm)
However, we ordered the Iskender (which they made with the Adana kabob) and the chicken shish kebab. We were pleasantly surprised and loved the food. I would recommend this restaurant, for sure. The service was fast -- waited no more than 10-15 minutes for the food and the portion sizes were big.
Will be visiting again. Posted on January 16, 2012 |

★★★★☆ I had a chicken shes plate and beef in a pita with lentil soup
The place does not look attractive but:
Friendly staff
Perfect real turkish food
So reasonable prices and quantities

★★★★★ Assalamualaikum. I love turkish food and Mississauga finally has some amazing turkish food. This food is out of this world - from the Adana, Chicken Shish, Beef Shish, Kofte and Isekendar: all I can say is WOW! They have this great ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT deal for $18.99 (I think it's only 2 more on weekends/holidays) so it's definitely a crowd pleaser. I actually recommend the mixed grill plate ($15.99) as it has everything you want from all of the kebabs, salad, rice and bulgar (Turkish couscous?) and if you are still hungry after that you can upgrade to the all you can eat (but it's a huge plate already). The owners are a simple Muslim couple originally from Turkey that work very hard to provide the best food possible. I strongly recommend that you try it once - you'll be hooked. I like the fact that they go out of their way to treat you well. Numerous times I was given complimentary tea and baklava (I must admit I have been there a few times now) and they are really hospitable. The restaurant is very clean, bright and family friendly. It makes me go back again and again Masha Allah. Posted on November 5, 2011 |
