NR Great food, good portion. Service was slow but i think thats because they were making the food fresh. Friendly staff. Place looked kinda small, i dont think i would be able to bring both my babies here. I would return to this place. I recommend this place. Posted on February 23, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ OK - so they're not that OTHER famous Afghan place. But the food is decent. Ordered the Chicken wrap. It tasted pretty good, and for around $6 its just average. They do seem to know their spices.
The place and atmosphere is kinda awkward, in disrepair and rather quaint. Feels like Afghanistan I guess. Posted on February 15, 2013 |

★★★★☆ I am a frequent visitor to this place. Excellent food. Great staff. Alright place. Prices are also steep for the regular Afghan dishes, but definitely 10x better than Bamiyan and worth the food.
Their Lamb Shank is a must try for mutton lovers. I have never tried a lamb shank made in such a way. Simply amazing. Their Sultani worth the price for big eaters (comes with either 2 or 3 skewers of chicken/lamb meat).
Too bad tho they're closing this location and focusing on Burnhamthorpe and Mavis location. But good luck to them and we will follow where the cook goes. ;) Posted on September 7, 2012 |

★☆☆☆☆ Disappointed. Owners were smooth talking into getting the kabli pulao but it turned out below average! Bamiyan is generally alot better choice. Dont recommend it mainly cuz of food quality. Posted on August 10, 2011 |

★★★★★ Great food - and probably one of the best Afghan foods I've had. Highly recommended are the Qaboli Pilau with any skewers of meat. The ambience is not great, but take-out options are available. Posted on June 20, 2011 |
