★★★☆☆ Went here while visiting Dallas. I'm from the Bay Area, where we have two Wayback locations, and was expecting to experience something similar here. For the most part, yes, the pre-selected, franchised theme was similar. The Double Cheesy is my favorite. The restaurant is clean enough, and portion size and service is OK. ★★★☆☆ Tried this new place I was the only one there for what's normally a very busy lunch hour in the area. Staff confirmed everything on menu was halal. Had Philly cheesesteak, onion rings and a softdrink. For about $15. The place was clean, and the food arrived quickly. Food itself was average. The onions in the onion rings were undercooked. i.e. a bite would pull the soggy onion out of the crispy beautiful batter. The sandwich was ok. The bread was too soft for my taste but the filling was tender and seasoned properly. I am not excited to come back here. I hope that will change. Posted on April 12, 2017
