This restaurant has been authorized Halal by a Islamic organization. Halal chicken approved by Krispy Krunchy and is available for franchisees. Halal franchisees use chickens that are certified by the Islamic Society of the Washington Area, who confirms that 'all poultry are mechanical slaughter with actual muslims on site reciting the tasmiah (bismillah Allahu akbar) during the slaughter process'.

★★★★★ This food was excellent! Top 3 Fried chickens I've had ever! I got a family platter that had fried chicken, chicken tenders, honey buttered biscuits, and fries. The fries were top notch. The fried chicken had very nice seasoning and a bread-like breading (rather than flour-like). The tenders had more of a flour-like breading (like traditional fried chicken). The honey buttered biscuits were good but got soggy very quickly.
And it was extremely cheap! Only gripe is the restaurant looks very run down. Very nice people, but everything was broken and beat up. Posted on August 18, 2017 |

★★★★★ I just came from Orlando to visit family and I decided to take every one out to dinner. So naturally I pulled up Zabihah.com to see what was good in the area. I saw that Krispy Krunchy Chicken was trending on the main page and decided we should give it a try.
I have to say this is one of the best chicken joints I have been to in a while. I ordered the family combo it comes with chicken, tenders, fries, and biscuits. It was about 18 pieces of chicken total and it easily fed my family of 5 with some food leftover as well. We did also order there chicken sandwiches which were amazing highly recommended.
All in all i really enjoyed the meal, staff was friendly they gave us some complimentary cookies for the kids which were unexpectedly amazing. Definitely better then any halal fried chicken ive ever had.
Definitely coming back next time im in time. Posted on April 20, 2016 |

★★★★★ Clean place, Fast Service, excellent zabihah food!! Truly a fast food restaurant because the food was already prepared and ready for the customers. It opened just a week ago and is owned and run by a Pakistani family. Restaurant is clean, spacious, and has a soda fountain machine just like what you find in any fast food place. They are new so order and delivery wasn't streamlined... many people were doing many things at the same time. But the food was yum so it up for it. We tried chicken wings, chicken burger and fried chicken pieces. Everything was delicious, well cooked and finger licking good and had perfect blend of seasonings and much less salt than some of the other places nearby that we've been to. Will definitely return. ★★★★☆ I can attest to the review below. This place is legit. It's owned by a pakistani family who assured me everything was zabihah. I ordered 8 piece mix chicken and 8 piece cajun tenders. The tenders were AMAZING. They have a nice kick to it. The mix chicken was breaded well and was flavorful. Prices are somewhat steep but are comparable to the other zabihah fried chicken joints in the area. My only issue, which is small, was that they were a bit slow getting my food. Everything was already ready-made so I was expecting it somewhat right away, but the service is friendly and the food made up for it. It's finally nice to have a go-to place to get fried chicken without having to drive out 40 plus minutes. Posted on May 16, 2015 |

★★★★★ I love Krispy Krunchy Chicken. They are so much better than other fried chickens. The honey butter biscuits melt in your mouth. The Cajun tenders are spiced perfectly with little bit of heat. My whole family loves the fried chicken, even my kids who are super picky eater, enjoyed them. Love their customer service too. Posted on May 17, 2018 |

★☆☆☆☆ There are significant doubts about Krispy Krunchy's Halal status. ISWA, states that they don't certify restaurants, only slaughtering plants & manufacturers. ISWA cautions that in order to remain halal status, the product must not be cross contaminated. As of now, only the uncooked chicken breast tenderloins from an undisclosed plant is certified, not the finished product which are sold at the restaurants. Krispy Krunchy sells non-halal products. Customers should demand that Krispy Krunchy refrain from using or claiming the sale of Halal products, or get proper certification. Ask yourself, if a few bucks or a chicken leg is really worth sacrificing any time in Jannah. Posted on November 28, 2017 |
The halal status of individual Krispy Krunchy outlets is under the control of the franchisee, not the headquarters (which doesn't monitor halal status). Customers should check with the individual restaurant owner, not the national HQ. |

★★★★★ As a recent convert to the religion of Islam I have been craving a great place for halal fried chicken, and I have found the best one.
Krispy Krunchy Chicken is a great halal restaurant it is family run which really does make the quality of the chicken all the better. The people that are there really do care about the food they are making.
The food was 1000% better than what I had expected coming in. It was all Cajun style so it filled the spice need as well without going overboard. The food was prepared in a very timely manner as well, like mentioned in a previous review here other halal fried chicken restaurants take so long to make the food.
I am definitely coming back tonight as well. The tender and biscuits are just out of this world especially with the original dipping sauce. Looking forward to trying everything on the menu. Posted on April 18, 2016 |

★★★★★ I get wings for football games and the rest of the food is great too. Haven't tried any seafood yet but I don't know if I ever will given how good the chicken is. Owners take care of their customers. Would love to see their wing flavors expand. Posted on December 8, 2015 |

★★★★★ Let's cut to the chase, 5 star, everything is on point but the fries which is not a deal breaker. This place has delicious crispy tenders, mixed fried chicken, wings (sweet and sour and original), biscuits. This is now our go to Fried Chicken joint. Posted on May 21, 2015 |

★★★★★ Came through with a bunch of guys during lunch. They still didn't have the jambalaya and boudin yet but whatever they had was good. I really enjoyed the cajun fries and biscuit. The chicken was also really good but I prefer more spice because white meat can get really dry. The prices are on the steeper side compared to Church's or Popeye's but this is 100% Dhabihah so I will definitely be coming back. Posted on May 13, 2015 |
