NR I never write on the spot reviews but heres one for you. Poorest customer service iv ever experienced at a restaurant, would even call it rudeness. The food hasnt even arrived so cant comment on that. Would not return! 3 times when i ordered i was told “it will take time”, when asked how much time i received no answer! Would walk out except im hungry after an exceptionally long flight! Posted on March 24, 2018 |

★★★★★ Newest halal restaurant in town and really big too! I have been there twice now, awesome food and very good prices. It might be best to takeout though rather than dine in. They are bit scarce on the wait staff but the menu is huge and food is delicious. South Asian Posted on November 11, 2014 |

★★☆☆☆ Went to this place yesterday with my three kids around lunch. Ordered their Lahori platter which was supposed to have seekh kebob, chicken pieces and a tikka with biryani, salad and rice. For a 14.99 platter it sounded amazing (mind you my kids are very little and barely eat much). I also saw the delicious Falooda picture on their take out menu and decided to order that along with a small papdi chat for my self. The platter came with 3 small pieces of red chicken, One leg and thigh BBQ chicken and one long seekh kabob, excellent taste I must say. However, my server just put the plate of meat down and went to serve another customer. At this point we have no silverware or plates to eat from! So yeh, we sat there staring at the food in front of us.
The other guy being served had to indicate to the server to please provide us with (plastic) plates and utensils, which he did there after. Next came the naan, all well and good. The chat followed which was decent but nothing to write home about. The biggest failure was the falouda, I wish i could attach a picture on this forum but I'll try to describe what was served to me. It was a bowl full of liquid milk, noodles and chunks of ice creme (no jello, no straw, nothing remotely resembling a falooda i've ever had). The bowl had a metal spoon in it (why , thank you!).
I am not the kind of person to hackle the owner or servers, I mean, I'm there paying full price for your service, the least you can do is be honest about your food. If you don't have falooda, please let me know and I'll order something else instead of you charging me a ridiculous $5 for a bowl full of sweet milk. That is very improper and not honest at all, just because I'm not a complainer the least you could do is apologize for this mistake and take the money off of my bill. Posted on November 5, 2014 |

★★★★★ This was one of the very few halal options close to Hershey Park and I am extremely glad we decided to take a chance on it. The menu included many vegetarian and non vegetarian options as well as desert, tea etc.. We had the chicken seekh kabab, tawa keema, biryani and kulfi. The kababs were fresh from the grill and they had huge naans for the competitive price for $1 each. The biryani was a cross between pulao and biryani but it had a home cooked taste (not too many overwhelming flavors). The keema and kulfi didn't disappoint. Best of all, this joint is open late (area restaurants close early here) and the owner was happy to accommodate us. We even had leftovers for lunch the next day and the taste of the food didn't change -- to me, this meant that we were served fresh food the night before. Budget friendly, taste bud friendly, good portion size and open late. What else can you ask for? We will definitely revisit when we are in the area and tell all our friends. ★☆☆☆☆ I have been to this place a couple of times and have found the experience to be really bad. Take out may be fine, but dine-in is quite pathetic. There is just one person to serve who has don't care attitude. You have to make the effort to place an order as the lady is least interested in getting you seated or taking order from you. ★★★★☆ Clean location. Located in a plaza with good parking. Food was decent pricing. Lots of items on menu. Good food and tastes good too. Portions are reasonable. Will be returning soon. Posted on July 13, 2014 |

★★★★☆ I was on a business trip to PA and on my last leg of trip I stayed in Harrisburg and was really amazed to see so many halal restaurants in such a small city. I orderd biryani, tawa qeema and chicken bihari kabab. Biryani was below average but tawa qeema and bihari kabab was awesome, so tasty. Authentic Pakistani taste. I would love to go there again if I visit Harrisburg again. Service was very poor. I gave the 4 start just for their tasty food. Posted on May 16, 2014 |

★★★★☆ Not bad for Harrisburg. Typical Ma Pa Desi type setting. Aunty takes order the counter.
I ordered the Gyro over rice and Chicken Makhni.
Gyro was decent but a bit too much rice for the small amount of gyro meat.
Chicken Makhni was pretty tasty. Boneless pieces of chicken seemed fresh. Although it wasn't exactly how chicken makhni is suppose to taste (chicken pieces were not tandoor) I was pretty satisfied.
I will return to try more items and I recommend this place for anyone to try.
Place is for families and to go orders. Posted on March 6, 2014 |
