★★★★★ In Albayzin, about 15-20 minute walking distance from Justice Gate (Puerto Justicio) of Alhambra. Good place to visit for lunch if you are visiting Alhambra. Clean premises and restrooms. The owner took care of us personally. He speaks fluent English as he mentioned he lived in US for a while and did international sales globally for some years. Great service and above average food. They let us stay after their closing time and allowed us to pray inside. Their signs and menu clearly state they are halal. Food is mainly Moroccon with a few items for the not so well travelled customers. The prices are on the high side. If you are looking for good food in a historical area with attentive service, please visit them and be ready to pay the price. If you are looking for a quick bite for a low price, look elsewhere. There are plenty of options in the area. Posted on July 2, 2017 |

★★★★★ Located in Albayzin (Arab area / old Granada), easy to locate - Arrayanes is an amazing restaurant. It is a proper upscale halal restaurant which doesn't serve alcohol (which is quite difficult to find in Spain or Europe for that matter) - Amazing grilled meats, awesome tagines, and delicious arraes - will definitely try the shawerma chicken next time ... ★★★★★ Excellent place, delicous food. The best I had in Spain. Also confirmed it's halal status from the muslims that I met at Grand Mosque. Prices are little higher than average but it's worth that price. You must try... Posted on August 19, 2013 |

★★★★★ Great restaurant. Very delicious food masha Allah. Can't forget the taste. :)
Very good service in Islamic atmosphere. Beautiful decor. Although the prices were bit high but it didn't bother us in return of ecellent dinner. Posted on January 17, 2013 |

★★★★★ Once you're in Spain, you realize this is the Pork Capital of the World. Finding halal food is very difficult in most cities. Granada, fortunately is different. There is an abundance of halal restaurants, mostly in the Albayasin (arab) quarter. However, most of the Halal restaurants we encountered also served alcohol; I'm not sure why this is so, but it is a fact. This restaurant, Arrayanes, however, did not serve alcohol. While most other halal places are "hole in the wall" type of establishments, this place was clean, well appointed, and had air conditioning. It is a real restaurant. I highly recommend it. The prices are a bit higher than other places. After eating shawarma sandwiches for 3 days straight, this was a nice change. Posted on July 13, 2011 |

★★★★★ This is an upscale Moroccan restaurant located in the Moroccan district of Granada (close to the Plaza Nuevo). Although they have many types of Moroccan dishes we stuck to getting shawarma plates. They tasted good and were delicious. We also had tons of their Moroccan mint tea which were great. The service was also top of the line as well. The setting was really nice too. Posted on March 9, 2011 |

★★★★★ The restaurant is located in the "Little Morocco" neighborhood of Granada. The decor, service, and food were all excellent. Our party had soup, couscous, and cola. The price for the full meal was 15 to 20 Euros per person. The owner speaks fluent English, and even lived in the U.S. briefly. The store sign prominantly displays Halal, and the owner is Muslim. He even directed me to the local Masjid by the Mirador San Nicholas. Posted on May 30, 2006 |
