★★★★★ This place is amazing. They got new management a few years back and stepped it up big time. The interior is really nice, clean, and friendly. They have a full prayer space that could easily hold a Jumma of 10-15 people. The menu is great. I had the gyro, the meat was thick, tender, and so soft with really authentic flavor. The pita was super soft but held up well to the stacked meat. They also have pizza which is really good, burgers, plus their falafel are HUGE! Also, if you are a local like me, I always seem to see someone I know here, it's a great place to eat, pray, or congregate; especially since it has massive seating capacity. ★★★★★ Double-cheeseburgers are the best. The sauces they use are amazing.
However, let me tell you what I really like about this restaurant. I have been to places in Los Angeles, Toronto, any many other places in the USA, and nothing matches the Islamic atmosphere at Falafel corner:
1. There is no music playing.
2. All the brothers working there have full beards and kufis, masha Allah. They greet you with a salam and smile, as is the Sunnah of Ar-Rasool (SAWS).
3. They have a dedicated musalah, with Qiblah direction clearly marked.
4. When it is time to pray, a brother makes Azan and all the men who are eating, and the employees of the restaurant as well get up and pray Jama'at.
5. During Ramadan, the place stays open late to accommodate those who are fasting. They serve free dates, and play Na'ats.
6. Among the clientele, you'll always see muslim brothers with kufis, turbans, beards, dealing with each other in a very pleasant manner. I have personally seen Imam Suhaib Web and Imam Tahir Anwar there.
To the brothers who own this establishment, jazak Allah for your efforts, may Allah reward you with success in this dunya and the Akhira.
If you are serious about your deen, and love a good burger, you won't find a better place than this in the bay. Posted on November 4, 2013 |

★★★☆☆ I say we return with reservation. Wears and until recently had exceptional service and food quality was great. Recently the owner has not been around to supervise his young staff. They are rude and disrespectful. They are unable to get the order right. We recently had to have our order remade twice and there was no refund or fries added for no charge or any compensation. They claimed they never do this kind of thing. They are not allowed. The bread was stale on the sandwiches. Pizza is usually good but check it if you take out since you may have something different when you get home. I do respect the owner. and will continue to go here just for that reason. He will ensure the food is right. One thing I wish he had curly fries on regular basis and would also add onion rings. Also garlic, anchovies and spinach would be great for pizza topping extras. ★★★★☆ Been going here since its opening. Love this place primarily because the owners are great people and they have very friendly staff. They even have a spot with carpet designated for prayer! I recommend their meat lovers and bbq chicken pizzas. Their philly gyro is also good. Their burgers are hit or miss but probably some of the best zabihah burgers in the bay area(tex mex and bacon cheddar) They also have some of the best baklava I've ever had, its not made there but it is so juicy(I have a huge sweet tooth, it is too sweet for some) Posted on September 25, 2014 |

★★★★★ One of the best places to come for a burger! My super favorite is the bacon cheddar cheeseburger. It always hits the spot! It is consistently good which is hard to find at other halal places that serve burgers. I'm hoping there will come a day when they serve a mushroom Swiss burger inshaAllah! ★★★★★ Been coming here for years.. the Avocado Ranch Burger is the standout! Though the Chicken Wings have cult status within our group, good variety of Burgers/Pizza choices, this used to be a sports bar once and now has prayer mats..they're open late during Ramadan..this one's a must visit in the south bay! ★☆☆☆☆ After being excited to hear that Falafel corner conveniently delivers, I placed an order for my friends and myself. I wish I could comment on the food but we never got to try it. However, if the food is anything like the service, I say skip it. Heres what happened:
We made our order without a problem at 8:20 pm, making sure we had a $40 minimum. As requested, we gave our address and our phone number and were told the order would be delivered in 40 minutes. By 9:15 we had heard nothing nor received anything so we gave them a call, only to be told it would be another 15 minutes.
This was not the problem!! The problem arose when after 20 minutes we had YET to receive an order or a phone call. We called back and spoke to the owner himself who told us- with NO REMORSE- that the food was still sitting in the restraunt and that it would be another 40 minutes before he could deliver. The most upsetting, part in all of this was when the owner proceeded to blame the reasoning for the lack of delivery. He said we were suddenly out of his delivery range. When we told him that we had not been informed of a delivery range, he said that we should have known that his worker was new to the country and didn't speak english. He said you either come pick it up or I'll just throw it away.
We obviously were not about to give him business after this. I'm still hoping he'll have the decency to apologize.
p.s. we had gone to FC previously many times and have always enjoyed their food but with the new owners, the customer service is just not worth it. Posted on April 1, 2014 |

★★★★★ My family and I love going to Falafel Corner once a month. The Bacon cheeseburger is excellent and the choice for my kids. Had the chicken wings made spicy also very good crunchy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Posted on January 18, 2014 |

★★★★☆ I love this place. The owner (or maybe he works there, I'm not sure, but he's always there) came out and gave our table free baklava because our party had small kids.
The pizza sauce is incredible.
Con: I don't like the way the pizza tastes when we do take-out. It's amazing in the restaurant, but not as good when it's 20 minutes old. Posted on September 8, 2013 |

★★★★★ I had double cheeseburger and I loved it! There was a separate place for offering prayers which was great! We are planning to return there very soon inshallah. Posted on September 2, 2013 |

★★★★★ Wow- cant get enough if this place! Burgers and gyros are excellent and served generously. Definitely recommend their cheese pizza- delicious! The decor in the place is always improving- they now have a prayer place set up which is nice! Lots of people always there and foosball set up. Posted on August 7, 2013 |

★★☆☆☆ Falafel - 1 star. This is based of getting it twice. It was burnt and stale (lunch and dinner times). I dont get it, the bay area seems to to have terrible falafel in general.
Gyro - 3 stars. Huge pieces of gyro though. Its meaty.
Pizza - wish they sold by the slice.
I don't understand the sandwich or wraps. Its half open and the lettuce is usually aged. Prices are fair though. Posted on November 3, 2012 |

★★★★★ Update: Finally had their burgers, and YUM! big and juicy. The service is awesome, the owners are fabulous. Much more than falafel here (although their falafels are to die for!)
I've only eaten in the restaurant once for an event, but I've also ordered and picked up food on several occasions. The food is great! The space very large, which is nice. It totally feels like a pizza place. There's room for people to pray and room for the kids to play without being too disturbing. I've had the pizza which is awesome! the gyros are okay. i'm looking forward to trying their burgers. My friends got their burgers and said they were really good. Posted on September 11, 2011 |

★★☆☆☆ After reading the other reviews here, I decided to give this place a try while visiting Fremont. I was pretty disappointed. I went there for dinner with my family. We decided to try their Burgers and a Gyro. My daughter wanted a hot dog and unfortunately they ran out and they were also out of chicken wings. We had a cheese burger a Tex Mex Burger and a traditional Gyro. Both burgers were overcooked to the point where the patty was actually kind of hard. The meat in the Gyro was over cooked and dry as well. The fry's were not very fresh. My son did not even finish his cheese burger due to it not tasting good. I felt it was a little over priced for the portion size and quality of restaurant. Our order included 2 meals that had a fries and a drink and 1 stand alone burger and it came out to $27. There are many better quality options in the area. Posted on September 9, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ Tried cheese burger and Tex max burger. The regular cheese burger was better than other. They were little over cooked though. the service took quite a while, looks like either they are under staffed or under equipped. Place was not quite clean also Posted on April 10, 2011 |

★★★★★ Excellent service. Cheeseburgers were tasty. Very reasonable prices. Will definitely come back. Recommend this place. Posted on April 8, 2011 |

★★★★★ Nice large place for american food (self serve). Tried the burgers and pizza. Food is really good. price is very reasonable. Good option in the East Bay for american food. Haven't tried their falafel or kebab offerings. I would definitely go again and try the other gourmet burger offerings. Recommendation to the owners would be to periodically clean the tables, since not everyone leaves the tables clean after they leave. Posted on January 17, 2011 |

★★★★☆ We have been here twice when visiting from Sacramento. Pizza is good, and Avocado Burger is yummy. Hot wings are just okay...overall I am happy with this place, although it is very dirty. Posted on December 27, 2010 |

★★★★☆ Really nice place, very clean. They have a room to say prayers and even brought a long mat for large group to pray. Even has DirectTV installed so kids can watch cartoons or sports while parents enjoy the food. They also have foosball table. Posted on December 4, 2010 |

★★★★☆ Went here for lunch today as I happened to be in the area. I had seen this place before but did not know it was Zabihah until recently after being approved by the HFSAA. I had the Tex-Mex burger as it was ok. I did feel they could of cooked the meat a little better, but it was filling and I did like the fact that it came with jalapenos, cheese and had bbq sauce. The service was really good and the place was neat and clean. The place looks small from outside, but when you enter you can see it very spacious with adequate seating. Prices are not too bad either. I hope to return here to try their Gyros and other burgers. Posted on November 24, 2010 |

★★★★★ My friend just told me about this place and I had wanted a hamburger all day so I was happy to try it out. I had a cheeseburger and it was great. It's nice to see the newer halal joints that have a clean, inviting eating area and great service. Will definitely be back. Posted on November 2, 2010 |

★★★★☆ I tried the Tex-Mex cheese burger which comes with grilled onions, green peppers, Monterey jack cheese, jalapenos and BBQ sauce. It was very good. The owner, Ahmad was very friendly and welcoming. This place also serves kababs and pizza. I recommend this place. Posted on October 29, 2010 |

★★★★☆ Went here with a large group for lunch over the weekend. I had the Avocado Ranch Burger with Fries and a soda. The burger was very good. The fries were a little under-cooked for me. A couple of my friends ordered "The Savage" pizza which is an all meat pizza. I tried a slice and it was very good. The BBQ chicken + Jalapeno pizza was pretty good too. Ordered a chicken shawerma plate to go, and it was a little disappointing. Not very much chicken and not very flavorful. Plenty of seating inside the restaurant. The service is a little slow and the bathrooms could be cleaner. May be a good idea to call your order in ahead of time to avoid long wait times. Posted on October 4, 2010 |
