NR Asslamu Alaykum,
Does anyone have information if this place has a Zabihah menu? I remember a long time back with this place was located on Rt 210 that a worker there told me that there was only one item on the menu that was Zabihah and the rest was halal. If anyone can post information for me to follow up. Thanks. Posted on February 27, 2021 |

★★★☆☆ The fried chicken is very good, which makes my family happy. There are not many halal fried chicken places, and most of them are too spicy-hot for me. This chicken is good, though. We'll be back for it.
HOWEVER... we ordered a 10-piece combo that was supposed to be dark AND white meat, and it came all dark. When I complained they brought out 5 white pieces (2 breasts, 3 wings). They were nice about it, but I did have to speak up about it. If we'd done carryout instead of eating there, I probably would have been pretty upset.
I was not impressed with the steak & cheese sub. Their unique gimmick (?) is to put french fries on the sandwich, and they get soggy and (in my opinion) disgusting, so I spent a lot of time trying to pull them all out. Also, the sub roll became soggy and pretty much disintigrated by the time I'd eaten all I could.
The RESTROOMS are not the best. Apparently, in the men's room the sink doesn't work at all, and in the ladies room there's some kind of leak and the floor near the sink is always wet. Also, it reeks of some kind of cleaner/air freshener.
At this time, apparently they're revising their menu. The old menu says the chicken comes with biscuits, but there are no biscuits, just cold, regular, packaged dinner rolls, straight from the package. Posted on November 29, 2011 |

★★★☆☆ A mix of various and different items on the menu. Afghani kababs, fried chicken, sandwiches and wings. Average tasting food. The food was not as flavorful as I had hoped for. I might try it again if in the area. Posted on December 29, 2010 |

★★★☆☆ Sometimes it takes a minute to get your food, but there is a large variety on the breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus. Note: not all of the breakfast meat is halal; you must ask for it. However, all other menu items (lunch and dinner) are halal. This is the Muslim Popeye's with an Afghani twist, y'all! Posted on March 21, 2010 |
