★★★☆☆ Went there with my wife and kids. Ordered the spaghetti and ziti. While waiting for the main dishes we had a pizza slice, as we were famished. The pizza was really good! We ordered another slice, and since their was an offer for two slices with a soda, we also got a soda. The spaghetti and ziti were OK. Nothing to complain about the food. We were able to offer salah at the masjid right next door!
When it came to pay, I was surprised to learn that the pizza slice came to $3 each, whereas I expected $1.50, which was advertised on the menu (as regular slice, or $1.99 for sicilian pizza slice). I did not make a fuss and paid the amount. As we were leaving, I gave feedback to the guy who I presumed to be the owner, that I did not expect the pizza slice to be $3 each. He said that when customers ask for something they serve it, implying that the customer had to ask for the price. He started getting a bit rude and aggressive. I told him that I am giving him feedback as a customer, and that I promote Halal restaurants by visiting them regularly, and that I don't plan to visit them again as I get the perception of being tricked. To his credit he offered to give back the money I paid for the pizza, which I refused.
Anyway, I hope that they have improved their pricing displays, and not confuse people. Apart from that negative event, otherwise I thought the place was good.
This has to be my longest review ever! I hope that it is not biased and was objective. Posted on February 13, 2011 |
Dear brother I am the owner of Aria Kabab and i was not there at this accation but if you think back did you have a regular slice or a buffalo chicken slice because our buffalo chicken slice is 3 dollars and our regular slice is 1.50 we are honest god fearing muslims it did not seem fair leaving a comment like this prier to reviewing the facts about what really went on that day when you visited us come again and give us a try you will see we dont try to cheat people. |
