HALAL SUMMARY
The owners of this restaurant are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status.
★★★☆☆ Pricey; smoky; noisy; busy.
I found this place slightly inferior to the other Indian restaurant at Star City (Shere Khans).
The food is good but I wouldn't come here again due to the length of time to get a table and the slow service.
The price is a bit high but it's fine when you consider what the other eating establishments in the area charge.
Not recommended, but still get's a 3 out of 5 as I'm sure there are times in the day when service is better and there may be less noisy people around. Posted on January 30, 2012
★★★★☆ Lovely decor and great staff.
Food is brilliant but not as good as the one in Luton, however the decor isn't great there.
Food is well priced.
Facilities for male/female.
Great for families, groups of friends or couples. Posted on November 8, 2011
★☆☆☆☆ I went there with couple of friend and ordered some Karahi and Jalfreji curry with Biryani with some starter. The food came late. The starter was ok but the main dishes were too oily and cold. The Biryani was soggy and over cooked and looked like someone mixed the rice with some curry sauce. I called that lady who i guess the supervisor & explained her the situation. As we were not having that we requested her to returned the food and take it off from the bill. But she rudely replied there is no way they can take it off if we don't pay the full bill they will call the security. We were shocked but knew our right and refused to pay for the biryani. Apparently the security guy came, they £10 voucher for the next visit when the biryani was £6.50!! But there is no way we were coming back! At the end came out without paying for the biryani as we knew our rights.
The customer service was very poor specially that lady was a disaster. She couldn't speak English properly, doesn't have a basic understanding of customer service and unbelievably rude. Ohh there was a unexpected 10% service charge on the bill.
This place waisted our whole evening. Posted on February 15, 2011
★★★☆☆ very nice interior, portions were just right not big and not too small reasonably priced, although if i am to be honest we were inticed by the lady outside giving away '£5 off your bill vouchers' however there was an unexpected service charge of £4.35 at the end of the meal so didnt really make much difference. ★★★★★ I love coming here on a Tuesday night when hitesh and Rama are singing live to your requests of bollywood songs and then as ur enjoying ur meal all off a sudden random people just get up and start dancing it's brilliant!
There on YouTube chk it out as for the food I love it I'm a veggie and there's a massive veggie menu. The seekh keabas are to die for and they chilli masala curry so I've been told Posted on May 9, 2010
