★★☆☆☆ Lady/owner needs to work on her interpersonal skills. Customers CHOOSE where they spend their money; treat them good and be nice/pleasant with them or they'll go to your competitor; as there are many places that serve halal meat. Every time I have walked in the lady is always looking like she's having a bad day. I stopped going; now I go to her competitor who is slightly more expensive. Also, the restaurant side, tables are dirty, anything you order is pretty much bland. Get a sauce (spicy mayo, zesty, etc.) for your chicken tenders/nuggets.
She does sell 100% Halal meat; only reason I am giving her 2 stars. Otherwise it would be 1. Posted on April 14, 2019 |

★★★★★ The variety of spices and dry goods at this store is pretty good. Most south Asian and middle eastern standards can be found in dry goods and spices. As well, you can find some of the more popular snacks and sweets from the region.
There is some limited produce, mostly what you would use for cooking basics, and a small variety of frozen products, vegetables and quick foods (like burgers, turkey strips, samosas, etc).
The meat is always fresh and professionally packaged. They typically have a variety of styles of cuts for the meats but are happy to freshly cut your order. The packaging makes it a breeze for frozen storage if you want to buy a lot but not have to divide it up for meals.
The restaurant menu is nice and the food is really good. A plus, they serve you quickly at the dining tables. The shawarmas are really good and the fries are the nice big, thick steak fry-style that you don't see too often anymore.
The business is family owned and run and the people are both pleasant and professional. Always greeting you with a smile and salaam, and ready for your quick order or to have a chat on a slow day. The lady who runs the register is especially sweet and helpful. The fact that it is a stone's throw from the masjid makes it a must-stop for travelers and locals alike. Posted on January 17, 2016 |

★★★★★ Went here for the first time. Their menu is pretty small, but the food was great. It's inside a grocery store, but is a nice and clean place. They do have some tables to dine-in as well. Posted on February 8, 2012 |

★★★★★ This place has a new owner.
Shawarma portion is huge and only $4.75.
Try their mixed Shawarma (they mix chicken and meat) and it's very good.
I also tried their Falafel, it's probably the best in St. Louis area.
The place is clean and has booths as well as chair-tables.
Bathrooms are clean.
I'm not sure about it's grocery items, but the food is absolutely awesome.
Also, if you're out of towner, this place is only a few minutes from the Masjid. Posted on January 4, 2012 |

★★★★☆ Clean Store with limited seating; really nice owner and family run the place. Have never had any problems with them. Good quality meat and cut exactly as ordered. Shawarmas are still good despite change in ownership a few months ago. Posted on January 4, 2012 |
