Birria Mania

One of the best lunches I\'ve had in a long time Masha\'Allah! My husband and I ordered the plato de birria, a small consome, a pinada (virgin pina colada), and a virgin strawberry mojito. The birria was tender and a riot of flavor, complemented even further by the luscious consome. The beans and rice on their own were nothing special, but a good accompaniment to the birria. The mojito and pina colada may have been my favorite parts of the meal; the mojito contained chunks of real strawberries and mint sprigs and was so refreshing, and the pina colada was freshly blended. The restaurant was a cute space, decorated with a plethora of colorful sombreros and blasting Selena songs over the speaker. The servers were friendly and attentive. Insha\'Allah we will be coming back the next time we\'re in Brooklyn!
