There was only a non Muslim Puerto Rican guy at the store when I called but they told me that the lamb was halal. When I got to the store I saw a lot of Muslim signs like Quran ayyaat displayed so I felt a little more comfortable. I ordered falafel just to be safe. It was average but I really appreciated that this is the only restaurant in PR that does not sell liquor. The restaurant is also neat and attractive.

ONLY LAMB IS HALAL! Decent good food, but pretty simple. Not very flavored or spiced up like traditional Mediterranean food. A little pricey to be honest. I got the lamb shawarma and it only had lettuce, tomatoes, and sliced lamb... $13 bucks for that is not ideal.

The restaurant is a bit far from the tourist areas, but with a taxi 15 min from carolina, the waitress confirmed that the meat was halal, and no alcohol on sale which for me is a proof. The dishes are hearty, very good, tasty and not expensive, very good place for a family
