My Donair

I visited over the summer and our host family highly recommended this place and ordered some take-out which we all enjoyed. They specifically felt comfortable with the Halal authenticity of this place (there are many other chains around the city, but apparently some are more questionable than others in their meat sources). They had a sticker in their display case from "Halal Products of Alberta". I recently moved from Toronto to Calgary and went back to give this place a try; from my experience with this type of food (and I've had plenty!), they provide an excellent meal for the price point. If you'd like to eat in, the place is simple but cozy and the owners are friendly, it's peaceful (as long as you don't mind background Arab music) - I would definitely go back.
