About Grape Leaves
We prepare our food fresh daily with the healthy diet in mind. Nothing is frozen. All our food is prepared very light. Our meats are marinated for many hours with special sauces. The menu includes inexpensive appetizers, lunch, and meat & vegetarian dinner specials. For an extra treat browse our beverages and desserts. Half a block south of the CTA Green Line's Oak Park stop.

Only Lamb shanks is Halal as told by the owner, it was good for the price; tried Falafel the other day and was one of the best.

We found this restaurant on Zabhihah.com and went there thinking it's Halal. They are not! Interestingly, restaurant have Quranic scriptures on the walls along with pictures of Jesus. Christmas music was playing in the background. Also, they do serve Alcohol. Once we learnt from the staff that it's not Zabhiah, we thought we would try the Veggie entries. They were bad! Really bad.
