Most of the lamb items are really good and delicious especially the Biryani. Their chicken is not Zabihah Halal (hand-slaughtered) but their lamb is.
Not worth the hype! I got the spicy biryani and it was barely mild at best! Also it lacked flavor. There are a couple of restaurants around Manassas/Fairfax that are MUCH MUCH better. It was definitely not worth $12 and the quantity was less than others that I have eaten around VA.
100 percent halal meat from restaurant depot not market. All chains use halal meat see link to confirm. www.indoamerican-news.com/archives/4642
Food is not halal... no halal signs, owner said they get meat from restaurant market.
Best biryani in town
Best biryani in MD/VA/DC area - hyderabadi style! Also has good chicken 65 - but other menu not too good.
This restaurant is owned by non-muslims, I doubt they serve zabiha meat at all times.
I went to Paradise Biriyani Pointe over the weekend. I was visiting from Jersey, and had to find a place to eat lunch. There was over 15 of us. And they got our orders and served us within a good time. As for the food. It was the best I have ever eaten. I have been to their branch in Jersey, and loved it. But this one, outdid them. I ordered their chicken biriyani and pepper chicken. It was delicious. I wish I had packed some to go. And the rest of my family felt the same way. We all loved it. For some, it was a bit spicy. But they asked for medium spice. If you dont like spice, just say mild. It should be fine. If I am ever in the area again, I will defenitely be having a meal or two there.
Hands down the best biryani in town. Very authentic hyderabadi flavour to go with the esoteric hyderabadi desserts. But everything else is average or below average. Maybe they should cut down on the rest of the menu.
We went to this place for take out. It was verbally assured to us by the staff that all their meat is halal. We ordered some samosas, biryani and Tikka Masala. All were cooked were and decent. The prices weren't too bad either.
