We have been to this place many many time cause of their buffet! They have improved their nehari ALOT but they still need to work on their paaye. Their customer service is okay-ish.

Mehran Sterling Location - We enjoyed the Buffet so I thought we could try something from the menu. I ordered Chicken Biryani & Achar gohst. The rice was nice but they added Tandoori chicken pieces to the rice. The Gosht was the salaan and they seemed to have just added the Achar from the Jar.... The worst thing was I went to the rest room to wash my hands, a man came out of the toilet, did not wash his hands and went to the kitchen area - I do not know if he was part of the cooking team but he was not a customer as there were very few customers on our side and he was not one of them. I mentioned this to that cashier and he said we have wash basins in the kitchen...crazy! Hygiene is very important and I cannot return to the restaurant. Inshaallah the owners can read this review and make the necessary improvements.

This was my second visit and possibly my last for a while, mind you my first visit was excellent. We ordered chicken seekh, daal, and chicken karhai. The karhai was good in my opinion, the chicken seekh was an insult to our intelligence. Since we had it before from them we knew how good it was. This time around they serve us one of the frozen kind that you heat up! I\'ll think twice before coming back here.

I would say there is no restaurant like Mehran in whole dmv who actually brings out the pakistani taste in food at a very reasonable price!

Boneless chicken Biryani is awesome at Mehran. A must try. Price is little more than average but the food is worth it. Buffet is great. Wish they had tandoori chicken everyday.

I went here lunch and it was really good. I had a bowl of Nihari which tasted really delicious. It was cooked well and came with some nice bread along with salad. The service was excellent as the staff was very friendly. The place had adequate seating and was neat and clean. They also had a buffet which I hope to try out next time.

The food are reasonably priced with generous portion. The buffet has wide range of choices. I won't recommend anyone who is a lighter eater like me because, you can't take leftover home after you are done eating. Try their chicken meatball with egg (not always on the menu). It is delicious. However don't bother with achar chicken, it is the worst ever! I buy gyro salad or gyro from them. for $7.50 dollar or so I get a pretty full stomach. The service is friendly and professional. You can put your tip on the credit card.

Ive been to this place twice in the last month, their chaat papri is great & so are their channay. Ive always had a good experiene with their waiting staff. But their only drawback is they didnt honour the restaurant.com coupon they sold. This is dishonest of them. But ive found this to be a problem with alot of desi restaurants where they sell the coupon but dont accept it!

I have tried almost all desi / pakistani restaurant in Herndon, Reston, Fairfax area. I must say its the best in town. Its taste is authentic and each dish have unique taste. Must try its biryani, chicken kabab and Gryo. It has buffet also but I haven't try it. I would recommend to place special order instead of buffet. Summary: Good Service, Nice and clean seating arrangement and authentic taste

I have been to Mehran many times, tried the buffet, it was always good, I also had grilled chicken platter once I loved it. Their tandoori chicken is just amazing and the bread is exceptionally good. The only regret is with their biryani, it is extremely hot, oily and meat doesn't go along with the rice, tastes like meat was cooked separately and it was mixed with rice and served. I hope they improve their biryani. Staff is very courteous and provides good service. Decor is nice and seating is comfortable. Highly recommended for lunch buffet.

I had a late buffet here with my kids. Quality of food is ok...not the best. Buffet has a wide range of choices. But very unfriendly and unaccommadatung. My children chose a variety from the buffet and could nit finish the food. When I asked for a take out box, I was told it is against their so-called policy to allow food to be boxed from leftovers of a buffet menu. The owners would rather throw untouched food away in the trash than let their customers choose to take the food home! The manager was very unpleasant, but the waiter was understanding. Being Muslim, how can u allow for food to be thrown out when the consumer is willing to take it home? We will NOT be returning!
