The menus clearly state that halal food is served.. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
Since we opened in 1996 Tinseltown has made it's name as a great diner by serving delicious food and having fantastic milkshakes. With over a decade's experience in making great fresh shakes with creamy ice cream and the fruit or chocolate of your choice Tinseltown have blazed the milkshake trail. With over 40 styles of burger and 60 flavours of shake, let alone our mouth watering grills and spicy Mexican dishes, Tinseltown has a dish for every taste. Beyond the great food and world class shakes Tinseltown is also about the vibe. Booth seating, music TV playing on multiple screens, we're a laid back diner with a Hollywood theme that's as great for a family meal as it is for that big night out.

Went with a crowd and we had a fun time! After all the hype and looking at the website pictures, I entered the Leicester Tinseltown. Smaller than expected, and not very loud or one of these colorful big budget highly decorated places. At least this branch. We sat down, and ordered various types of burgers, milkshakes, hot dogs, nachos and I think curly fries. Food arrives. And its humungo portions! Made me happy. Definately an attempt at decorative and interesting ingredient food. Milkshakes were great tasting and pretty to look at. I really really enjoyed the hot dog meal. I swear it was like a foot and a half long! I actually wish I could go back and eat a whole meal and a shake myself. We had fun, and its a place you want to take a party to. For all those conservative families that might think tinseltown is full of dates or clubbers. Its nothing like that at all. From what I saw it is a tame muslim owned place. But fabulous fun food!
I went here with my wife and 2 kids the food was very nice and the portions were enormous and the staff were very friendly and polite they slightly over cooked my sons sausage we complained and to compensate they gave us desserts on the house. The question is would I go back there? I've course I would had a great time and a full stomach too ðŸ‘
A little overpriced but the food is nice and quite a cool restuarant with great shakes.
bit pricey but appeals to some as its a bit trendy and different. The food is average but portions are large
I'd recommend their hot dogs or chicken wrap as they are the cheapest things on the menu (everything on the menu is over a fiver for some reason...) Hot dog tastes more like a kebab - and a very good quality one at that! Heavy, lightly spiced and extremely filling. Chicken wrap is not too bad either given the huge pieces of chicken you get in the wrap. That goes someway to cover the cost of it I suppose. It's best to eat in so you can take in the ambience and atmosphere. Although, it the MTV programs plastered all over the place will dumb your brain down and you might walk out of their a few IQ points lower... Pro tip: if it doesn't say freshly made or fresh, it isn't! Overall the place is great, just very expensive - especially when considering £8 (standard price of a meal at Tinseltown) can feed at least 2 (if not more) people at any of the local competition... Definitely worth visiting, but not regularly 4/5
Lovely chilled out youthful place for a party etc Good snacks :) Should attract more young people with lower prices
Very nice food with excellent VIP shakes. A must go
Good place to get some desserts and fast food. The desserts are a bit pricey but the portions are quite large as well. Nicely decorated with a hollywood theme and the service was quick as well. I would go again.
nice place, but £4 for a milkshake! is a bit too much
