This is really a very good restaurant. Good quality cooking, many items, reasonable price. Me & my friend both liked it very much. Location was near the tram 6 very convenient.

There is no alcohol in this restaurant, that's a plus for me. I dont eat from restaurants who serve alcohol even if they say they are halal. I'm Turkish and i asked the owner and he told me that the meat is halal and they eat themselves too. I did not eat meat, ate some vegeterian Turkish food. It was delicious, portions are big and cheap.

No halal mention anywhere, neither on shop front or menu. Also when asked the waiter, knew nothing of the sort. As a strict halal eater it's not recommended, go vegetarian here!

Nice to know you can get good tasting halal food in Budapest. Service was really quick, lots of choice to pick from. The meat choice is superb. I had the Iskander kebab which was really delicious, the thin slices of meat was wonderful. It was very busy so didn't have the chance to check with the owner if everything is halal, but lots of "Bismillah" and Quranic verses all around the eating area. Plus, no signs of alcohol being served. I would really recommend you to try this place first - prices are alright if not cheap considering this is Budapest.
