The owners are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status. From the owners: 'All meats in our restaurant are Zabiha/Halal. All items we sell are Halal. No alcohol served. No indecent pictures or statues.'
Falafel Bite (previously known as House of Falafel) serves hummus and babaganouj and is fully halal. Very large seating area that fits about 100 people where many Ramadan group iftars take place. Workers are fluent in English and Arabic. They have kabobs, shawerma, kefta, and many Lebanese style salads.

We tried shawarma beef, chicken and beef gyro. The plates are really enough for a man. Wraps are good too. I will return.
Good food. A bit busy during lunch -- however, worth the wait. I always order the combo chicken/beef gyro wrap. Delish. Each bite must be drizzled with the tahini sauce and the spicy hot sauce. They also have a location in Milpitas. I recommend.
Excellent and juicy kebabs. Served with freshly made Humus , Garlic sauce and salad. Spacious, clean dining space and quick service.
Been here plenty of times with family. Food and service is always great. I love the garlic sauce that comes with the kabobs.
Classic Plus Contemporary - Food taste perspective. I have yet to see such a variety in any other ME Halal Resturaunt in North America. Only minor setback is that Chicken is not Halal. Food taste is exceptional and above all consistent which is rare to find. Go there every other day for lunch. Waitress and hostess is awesome. Food is always fresh unlike most of ME restaurants.
I visited this restaurant during my trip to Bay Area. The food was really delicious, I ordered the juicy chicken fillet. The only drawback was that the quantity was a bit less than my liking.
Crowded during weekday lunch hours! Food is good and service great!
Amazing wraps!
Food isn't the great but service and prices are not too bad. Last time I went the gyro lamb meat was poor quality. Chicken wrap is good though.
My family and I enjoy going to Falafel Bite. The food is consistently good and the service is quick and polite. Recently the place has become cleaner, the food a little bit better and more consistent, and the portions a little bit smaller. My recomendations are to try the chicken dishes which are all very good. I especially like the Grandma's Chicken dish. My wife has had mixed experiences with the beef dishes, sometimes excellent, sometimes just okay (n terms of meat tenderness). This place is very busy weekdays for lunch, but I usually go on the weekends when it is not busy.
Great location, and very nice big screen TV to watch sports games inside. The food is cooked very well, and the employees are very professional.
I ate here at least once each time i've been in Silicon Valley area the last year or so. The fatoush salad is a little different, but very good. Shawarma is ok, not spectacular. This last time I had the lamb gyro and it was terrific (add some of the hot sauce they supply if you like spicy). Clean and friendly place (i always take away).
Best falafels in town, best shawerma, clean halal place. Busy at lunch hour. I take my family here on weekends and evening.
Very nice food. Very very very busy at lunch time. Best to call in your order ahead of time, even if you are dining in. The food is authentic Lebanese, with a spicy touch. Priced reasonably. I eat here 4 times per week.
I went there just yesterday (1/16/2011) and by the reviews I was expecting a good place, but it wasn't. While the cashier was a nice guy, the waitress seemed really moody, she almost threw our plates on our tables and the table wasn't cleaned, we cleaned it ourselves. We wanted to eat something not spicy we ordered shawerma combo and shishkabab combo, it wasn't over spicy, but it was spicy (although we didn't mention this to the cashier). I mean shawerma and shishkabob aren't indian or pakistani cuisine. The food didn't taste good at all, the meat was kinda smelly and wasn't fresh (or maybe it was prepared earlier and warmed again). The only credit I give to this place is the friendly cashier and the clean restrooms (and I am never going back).
Owners are known Muslim, food is awesome.
This place has decent food at reasonable prices. The service is decent, and the place is clean with ample seating. I would recommend trying this place out.
Pretty good food at reasonable prices. In a group of 4 Had the chicken Shawerma platter, lamb platter, adama platter and chicken kebab platter. Also had the falalef appetizers. All were good but I liked the adama kebab platter and the falafels the best. The Arabic mint tea is good also, but unfortunately not complimentary (although it's self serve tea). They take credit/ATM cards. Service is friendly. Plenty of seating inside the restaurant.
The management is the same as the House of Falafel restaurant on Stevens Creek Blvd. So the food has the same great quality and taste. But this place is much bigger and is more appropriate for a family outing than the other location.
The best Falafel's I've ever had, really and I do eat at lots of Falafel places in North California and south california. The Lebanese appetizers are also awsome here.
Halal food, clean, authentic Arabic of lebanese flavor. Hummus , shawerma and Tabboleh taste just like back home. Portions are very generous and prices are very fair. English and Arabic fluent service.
Family and professional respectful atmosphere. No alchohol, no immorality. Clean and prices are affordable.
